No Escape from the Billionaire’s Contract

No Escape from the Billionaire’s Contract

He unbuttoned his custom pinstriped vest and dropped a thick, freshly bound leather folder onto the stone surface with a heavy thud. Zariel set her worn duffel bag down on the floor, feeling like an absolute fraud in her vibrant emerald-green blouse, the one piece of color she had managed to save from his security team's packing frenzy. She walked over to the island, pulled the folder toward her, and began flipping through the crisp, heavy pages.

Secret Mate, Secret Millions

Secret Mate, Secret Millions

Lily turned and walked out. I watched her leave, then pulled out my phone. I opened a secure line and made a call. "Phoenix? This is Aurora Arkin." It was the first time I had ever spoken my true last name inside Thorne Industries. "Yes. I need to consult you on a unilateral breach of secret investment contracts. Evidence? I have it all. Every contract, every wire transfer." I hung up and opened a hidden wall safe in my office. Inside were all the investment contracts signed under the "Arkin Trust."

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

He padded back into the bedroom and completed the look by donning a pair of gray walking shorts and a loose-fitting blue and orange Hawaiian print shirt just wild enough to make any tourist proud. He pulled a large Army duffel bag from his closet, dropping it onto the bed and stuffing a pair of blue gym shorts, a gray T-shirt and a grubby red baseball cap alongside the Superman costume and blue nylon backpack already inside. He finished by shoving his silenced Browning and his commando knife in amongst the clothes. There was still plenty of room in the four-foot long bag when he hoisted the strap over his shoulder and headed out the door.

Secret Glances

Secret Glances

The shrill noise is right behind me. I turn and have to resist gawping at the man on her arm. Fucking Alexander. Some best friend you are. He is looking his usual best with a brand new Armani three-piece suit on, his hair is slicked back and they way his eyes are sweeping across Olivias body makes him look like a sleaze. Ignoring the blonde, blue eyed barbie I address Al.

Wanted By The Alpha And His Brothers

Wanted By The Alpha And His Brothers

Alongside it was a pair of sleek black heels and a simple clutch. And tucked beneath the dress, almost hidden, was something else: a small, velvet pouch. I loosened the drawstring and tipped the contents into my palm. A pair of stunning, diamond solitaire earrings. And nestled between them, a hairpin, its end a delicate twist of silver. But as I looked closer, I saw a tiny, almost invisible lens embedded in the floral design. A camera. My breath caught. This wasn't just an outfit. It was a kit. The dress for anonymity and respect. The earrings, beautiful and normal, likely contained micro-transmitters or recorders. The hairpin, a covert eye.

Last Year - First Love

Last Year - First Love

A shopping bag dangled from her hand, and her grin was wide. “Ladies,” she declared, “today we become undercover agents.” Before either of them could ask, she dug into her bag and pulled out a curly wig, a bright scarf, and oversized sunglasses. Annie blinked. “Sussy… what even is this?” “A disguise, duh!” Sussy tossed the wig onto her head and wrapped the scarf dramatically around her neck. “We can’t exactly investigate Damien and Claire’s past looking like ourselves. What if Adrian or Damien see us?”

Queen of the Rebel Pack

Queen of the Rebel Pack

I turned with a defeated sigh to the men who were from my personal security detail. I addressed the men. “You do know that the point of me wearing a disguise and masking my scent is because I don’t want to be identified as the pack leader here?” They were all burly, dressed in all black. A few of them had not even bothered to hide the weapons they toted. A very large battle axe hung from the back of Ritglass, and Scem who was the smallest in the group was wide-eyed, knives gripped far too tightly in his hands as he stared behind me—almost beyond me.

she said, pointing to a nondescript building on the city’s outskirts, “was one of Victor’s most secretive properties. If there are records or assets tied to the names on that list, they could be hidden there.” Elena studied the map, her brow furrowed. “We’ll need to move quickly. If these people suspect we’re onto them, they won’t hesitate to destroy any evidence.” Adrian, seated beside Elena, chimed in. “I’ll handle the logistics. We’ll need a team to secure the location and someone to comb through the records once we’re inside.” Elena placed a hand on his. “You’ve already done so much. Are you sure you’re ready for this?”

A SECOND CHANCE FOR BULLIED LUNA

A SECOND CHANCE FOR BULLIED LUNA

Nobody actually knows what happened to the wolves except for Louis - and he has lost his memory All everyone knows is that they have gone missing. And now, his spy too, is also missing. If we play our cards right, this might actually work for us. The lack of information and feedback will make us look more mysterious, dangerous, a group of rogues not to be trifled with. We just need to plan our next move very well. I quickly get out of the tub and get dressed in a dark blue coat dress that just reaches shy of my knees. It is made from thick wool-which helps in hiding whatever residue trembling I might have from the interrogation- with a fitted top that flares out gently into a skirt. There is

Enjoyable read, never once was tempted to skip to the end chapters and read it all the way through. Author has a definite talent despite some grammatical and language errors. Although, the description is a bit misleading as the dialogue snippet never happened in the story.

Great story loved it. Even though life might seem rough but life toughens you and gives you second chances. There is always light at the end of the tunnel Thank you so much for the great unique story.

Sarah Killian: The Marching Tides

Sarah Killian: The Marching Tides

he says in surprise, “it’s Agent Kern.” “You know her?” I ask, my old jealous suspicion rearing its head habitually. “She was an assassin, years ago, but got taken out of the field. She was still working for T.H.E.M., though, in wardrobe.” Ah, yeah. That’s why I recognized her. Every time we’d be sent out on assignment, we’d have to pay a visit to wardrobe to receive all the clothes we’d be using on assignment to prevent anything from being traced back to our real-life identities. Sorry, but people skills are not my forte, so remembering the rando people I work with is not something I’m going to commit to my long-term memory banks.
