Alpha’s Moonchild
The silence in here was scary, as though the very walls held secrets too dangerous to be spoken aloud.
I made my way to the farthest corner of the room, where the oldest records were kept. The scrolls, sealed with wax, lay beneath heavy stone slabs. I ran my fingers over the brittle parchment, careful not to damage the fragile texts. One scroll, tucked away in a forgotten corner, caught my attention. It was bound in dark leather, much older than the others. My pulse quickened as I carefully unrolled it, my eyes scanning the text.
The scroll mentioned the Soul Echo ability, but the details were sparse. Only a few lines were devoted to it. My heart sank as I read them:
