Drake, who is the youngest, packed all the chairs together and kept them in a hidden corner. "Drake!" I called when he was done packing the chairs. "Yes, Boss," he said, walking to me. "Keep an eye on the messages of that Tunisia," I said. With that, I left him. I knew since that Tunisia was Selena, but I waited till Drake started suspecting something. The only lady who knew about our secret group was Selena. I haven't told Tricia about it. When Drake got to know that his text to Tunisia was a foul play, I told him to continue playing along with her. He gave her false information about us.

He persisted, matching steps with her wherever she went. “Look, Drake, I’m with someone. So, can you leave me alone?” He shook his head vehemently, not in the least perturbed by her announcement. “Who? Your boyfriend? I don’t see anyone with you. I’ve been watching you since yesterday. You’ve been roaming around aimlessly all by yourself. Are you from SFI too? Most of the passengers I met were from there.” Brynne sighed, giving up and stopping near the railings of the deck. “Yes, I work for Sylvester Financial Inc..” He stood beside her, pulling out a slab of chocolate from his pocket.

I wanted to tell her that even if this woman was beautiful, her beauty was nothing compared to hers. "I apologize for being late, I just came from a charity event," she said as she sat down beside Atticus. She must be the Luna. "I'm Nicole Hutton," she introduced herself, "First Lady of Hutton Empire." "It's a pleasure to meet you." Rayne smiled at her. "Forgive my question, but you're not a vampire, am I right?" Nicole asked Rayne. "No, I'm not. I'm a gifted human," Rayne answered her.

The men backed up at the threat and she smiled. "Run along and I'd go looking for a new slave, the one that ran is a Dragon." They ran off at that and she looked at me. "Hi I'm Arachne, Empath Witch and friends of the Three Moons." She said, holding her hand out. I took it and shook her hand. "Channing." "I know. The Three Moons talk about you a lot. Though I don't think Selene likes you very much." She said, before looking at the barrel.

She smiles like she's reliving an old memory, one that holds both pain and sweetness. I blink, my mouth slightly agape. "How... How could that be? Sally wasn’t his fated mate?" Selena nodded slowly, "No, Sally wasn't his fated mate." She pauses, taking a deep breath before continuing. "Drake and I met during one of my visits to BloodMoon Pack. It was a sight to behold, Ally, like nothing I had ever felt before. My wolf was screaming 'mate' in my mind. It was... overwhelming."

Drake began his story about how he got to know Selene as the Alpha's fated mate. “The night she fell into a deep slumber after fainting, I sensed the power within her and the thin thread of love. When I trace it, it leads to you," Drake confessed and a smug smile graced Rayne's lips. His perfect lips curled up to form a smile as he raked his hand through his hair. He turned to face Drake.

“Stay away from Crescent Pack. They are nothing but trouble.” Yeah, too late for that. A sudden murmur began from the end of the hall. The crowd parted into two as she made her way to the front with her entourage behind her. Selena Drake, sister to the Alpha of Moon Hollow Pack, one of the strongest packs after Silverhaven Pack. “Damn, she's gorgeous,” Lucan muttered behind me. I couldn't argue with that fact. Her long golden hair shimmered under the chandeliers like liquid sunlight, her ocean blue eyes were cold and bright with confidence at the same time, if that was even possible.

I raised an eyebrow and burst out laughing. "What am I? A message sender? You even made me a servant." She frowned and took a piece of paper from inside his bag. "Name your price. How much money do you want?" I stared for a moment at the check she took out and burst out laughing. "Okay, I get it. I'm not famous but are you serious? You don't know me?" I asked in disbelief. "Why, who are you?" She seemed impatient to ask. "I'm Florence Mil, Servancio Mil's only daughter. I'm a drag racer too." I said with mixed pride. Her eyes widened and she looked at me in disbelief.

“I don’t get what’s so special about them that makes you girls swoon.” “Girl—everything!! They look like Greek gods! Have you seen those abs? That’s why I love P.E! And when they sing...” She trailed off into a daydream. “They sing?” “They’re a musical band. They call themselves DRAKE.” “What kind of name is that? Drake is already someone’s name.” “It’s an acronym—D.R.A.K.E. Dexton, Ray, Ashton, Eric. The ‘K’ stands for Kelly.” “Who’s Kelly?”

It's suffocating. Drake plopped on his chair and glared at the documents, wishing that he can make them disappear (completed preferably). Of course, it didn't work. He pushed documents on the side and decided to check his email first. Drake's expression darkened when he saw an email from Elder Chris with subject: "Consider Marcy Redmayne as your Luna". Another Elder is persistent in getting Drake together with a woman, all wrapped in a story of how an Alpha needs his Luna in order for the pack to prosper, but Drake and his pack are doing just fine.
