It was such a small lamp but it was enough to light up one small room such as the basement. I could see the dragon-like snakehead of it, its eyes close, resting and waiting for its wound to heal. It had scales that gleamed like obsidian, a maw full of teeth that could have swallowed a horse whole, and eyes that burned with a hunger that made my blood run cold. Kael didn't flinch. "Selene, you're something else." She set down her straw, then her face suddenly lit up. She waved at someone behind me. "Over here!" I turned. A young man was walking toward us. White T-shirt, silver-gray hair, pointed ears traced with the faint pattern of snake scales. His eyes were a pale amber, and when he smiled, they curved into soft crescents — like a big, sweet puppy. "And this is?" "My new little friend. Serpentfolk. Pure-hearted puppy-boy type." Mona pushed him into the seat next to me. "You like serpentfolk, right? This one's way better than that iceberg husband of yours — at least he smiles!"

His focus remained on the Giantgold Serpent, ready for the next move. Alexander could not hide his surprise. "I never knew Rex had a pet like this, and such a rare one at that." A Gonzai is a large serpent-like creature with scales in various shades of green and yellow, with a long, sinuous body and a wide, triangular head. It has glowing eyes and sharp, venomous fangs. Its body is adorned with elaborate patterns and markings, and it has a hood or frill around its neck that it can expand when threatened. The Gonzai also has a rattling tail that it uses to warn off potential threats. Overall, it has a menacing and powerful appearance.

“I’ll do anything.” The corner of his lips twitched as if he was fighting to not smile. Then, after a few seconds of contemplating, his eyes sharp as if he finally made up his mind, he spoke, “You're looking for more than just getting pregnant, right?” “Right,” I responded, my lips in a firm line. He leaned back in his chair. “Fine. There's this creature, a snake from old stories, called the Shadowscale Serpent. It could have been just a myth if not for the testimonies of the people who encountered it. Legend says the tears of the serpent have magical properties.”

Adrelda exclaimed in disbelief from the nether aircraft. She promptly informed Gideon via the aircraft's communicator. "The Tyrant Sea Serpent—an apt name that reflects your status. It's no surprise you're so mighty. You're truly a dragon-serpent!" As the saying went, "When a snake grows large, it becomes a python, when a python grows large, it becomes an anaconda, and when an anaconda grows large, it becomes a dragon!" Although this was merely a saying, it perfectly illustrated that the Tyrant Sea Serpent had reached the zenith of beasts. It was likely the sovereign of Tyrant Sea.

The serpent tensed, its body undulating with terrifying grace before it struck with lightning speed, lunging straight at Leon! Leon bolted, his breath ragged, but the serpent was far faster than he had imagined. In the blink of an eye, its cold, muscular body coiled around him with crushing force. The air was forced from his lungs, his ribs screaming under the immense pressure. His face turned pale, then a sickly shade of blue as he gasped for breath.

Thus, my movements are slow, and I feel part of the fang graze my arm. I cry out in pain as the poison enters my blood scream. It’s like my insides are burning and twisting and I fall onto the ground. The serpent rears back, its body moving and twisting on the ground as it readies itself again. Terror at its massive size has me sick to the stomach. But a part of my brain size that its large size might slow down its movements. I might get a chance to escape. But first, I have to get out of the water.

Levi was heading towards the sea, and before they reached the shore, Arista heard the eerie howl of a monster. This howl echoed to the ends of the earth. Arista’s spirit suddenly became tense. “What else is there?” Ignoring her, when they passed through several large rocks blocking their view, Arista saw on the dark sea surface, whipped up by the wind, a giant serpent emerging halfway, towering on the shore. This serpent had a golden crown on its head, eyes as bright red as lanterns, a body thicker than three people hugging, and scales shining like blades. Arista was silently amazed.
