Cryptids Romane & Geschichten

No, it couldn’t be… The large beast flapped its serpentine wings above her head as it came in for a landing. It’s scales took on the color of honey, shining like mirrors in the sun, and it landed with the grace of a blue heron, as it’s onyx talons clacked against the concrete patio. Madchen gasped as the beast shook it’s shiny scales, and sitting atop its head were two beautiful black horns. Ruby eyes blinked in the morning mist, eyes that looked vaguely familiar to her.

He was raven haired, had piecing black eyes and was dressed in all black. Normally, seeing someone dressed in all black would give me chills especially because I had a bad history with black. This time, I didn't hear my blood roaring in my ears. The guy looked desperate. Not desperately in need of money, but answers. His dark eyes held secrets, unsolved mysteries and something darker. Something dangerously attractive. Like fire. "What do you want?" "I.. I'm in search of someone but I've got no leads on them. Can you help me?" first rule a girl learns is that,

Especially the fishy smell from the new crates put near the gate. “Oh, yes. Those were crates of Krill Toads from Heruba,” Didi answered. “Krill Toads?” Barun raised his eyebrows in surprise. The old man knew of the reptile beast because they were constantly noisy in the swamp. The villagers from Heruba had often complained about it at lunch, but no one dared to come to the swamp in fear of getting snatched by its very powerful tongue. The average sized Krill Toad was said to have the strength to snap a man’s hand in two. That’s why Barun was surprised. “How are they able to catch so many at once?”

The melanin with short pixie hair squealed in excitement. I gave her a wink and she gasped in shock. “Please do well to introduce yourself ladies” I said with a huge smile. “I'm Esther Faux, I'm 20 years old and an upcoming model!" The melanin said quickly. She obviously wanted me to like her. Unfortunately, she didn't interest me much. “My name is Annabelle King and I'm a fan of your model work, very elegant” The other said with a bowed head, she seemed kinda shy and quiet.

He throws the green glowing one to the ground, and a giant black cat as tall as Alfi appears. “Strigiformes!” He throws the yellow glowing one to the ground, and a giant black owl as tall as Alfi appears. “Behold! Mgepmgvulgtlagln Yeeognge, the Four Cursed Beasts!” He exclaimed. “Mpek-mpek Yogi?” Varz finds it hard to speak. “Mgepmgvulgtlagln Yeeognge!” Alfi said. “Tempe Yogi?” “Mgepmgvulgtlagln Yeeognge.”

Imagine if we were watched by cameras flying in the air without us noticing, that would be sick but at the same time it could get us to punishments, we can kiss our diploma goodbye. "This is gross." Peter said as he glanced at the dead rabbit on the ground, I know it's gross buddy but it's life nature. "We should pray for him." Justin stretched his hands and crossed them, but Peter stopped him. "It's an animal, not a dead human." He said with a deadpanned look. "So? What's the problem then?" He furrowed his eyebrows. "You shouldn't pray for a dead animal, bro." "Are you serious, man?" Justin blinked his eyes in disbelief.

The animals gushing out of the forest gathered right in front of her. Griffins, a few strongest dragons, pegasuses, and other mythical creatures that they’d never seen before yet heard of. Some of them did not originate in the western continent like the kitsune or a nine-tailed fox, some dinosaurs. “What is this even?” Sabrina covered her mouth with her palm. There were also normal lions, wolves, eagles, falcons, ravens, tigers, elephants, anacondas, and crocodiles. “What does she want to do with them?” Mina was anxious.

“If they scream we are doomed.” Flavius peered between the stone bars. “By the gods, if those things get out, we are doomed twice over.” August looked across the way and saw an identical creature housed in the stone cave. His teeth gnashed, shaking from side to side. “What do you say to that?” Flavius muttered, “What are they? Dragons? Worms? Slugs?” “I don’t know.” They looked like long lizards, with four legs, but sported bizarre underbellies like a worm and strange protuberances on their reptilian heads like slugs. “I can’t dream of such a thing.”

When he could finally move, the tiny Fate was looking at a transparent door and one not-to-be-believed monster made of pulsing unwound souls, yarn, and needles. "It's a yarn cryptid! Is that always there? What do you feed it? Did you forget to feed it?" Tarsi was collecting his needles from the floor. "Why would I keep a cryptid as a pet?" Purl demanded, rummaging in his pouch for something that might help him fight the writhing monster. "These only spawn when something cataclysmic has happened. Something that fucks up the reincarnation cycle."

Stacy's eyes widened as if she had just been told there was an extra season of firefly, “There are eleven species,” Drake laughed, not in amusement but in bewilderment, “Demons, Valkyrie, Succubi, Incubi, Wolves, Bears, Eagles, Dragons, Panthers, Wolves, Vampires,” Drake paused for effect, “Hippogriff and Merfolk, thirteen in all, well thirteen original, we all know there are other subspecies out there.” The Wolf, Demon and Panther shared the look of awe while Ellie sighed, “The last two haven't been heard from in hundreds of years but they are very much alive, how is it that Mal doesn't remember them I wonder?”
