Malikul leaned backward and breathed out. Again, the room turned quiet. Shadow shifted her gaze and pointed to the book with her free feet. It was an ugly position but Malikul already loved her anyway. She would look lovely regardless of her behavior. “After all, regular people will struggle and have nightmares if they were to keep it,” said her. “Is it because the relics are full of ominous auras?”
