I feel them tear into my flesh and I scream trying to climb back up the tree but there are too many and soon I am defending my neck and organs as they try to kill me. Suddenly, I hear a car honking as the world begins to go black. I wonder if Z has found us. Has he decided to save me? Two rogues, thin and ragged, pacing at the edge of the clearing, sniffing the air, testing the boundary. Shadow’s eyes glowed as she circled them, silent, patient. One rogue moved closer to the trap Loki and Luca had set, sniffing at the bait.
