“You think you’re the only one?” “You wound me, Delia,” Gray chuckles. She slaps his arm playfully, letting him know it's time to get serious. He straightens up, as all signs of amusement snap from his face in a split second and holds still while she goes to work on the chain in his hands. She places both of her hands a few inches above the metal and whispers some incantation until a low blue glow can be seen from underneath her palms. When the glow fades she moves her warm copper brown hands and sighs.

Matthias shouted to his parents, "Send Katana to my chambers now. Emma is in danger!" Matthias faded and entered their room to find Emma fading fast as a shadow sat upon her with a pillow held upon her head, suffocating her. He knew her heartrate was falling fast, and she was not long for this world. Charging at the shadow, he passed right through and fell upon the floor next to Emma. He was shocked at the power of the shadow and yet he couldn't attack it via normal means, he managed to pull the pillow away from her face and heard her breathing hitch, as she managed to take in the air to sustain her lungs.

She giggles, and I hear Nadia growl behind me. I did answer Amy, but grabbed her by the neck. “Oh, don’t worry, I will make sure you won't enjoy it,” I tell her as I let shadow through enough to see that our claws grow on the other hand. I can see she tries very calmly, but her eyes betray her as I can see the fear in them. I smile evilly as she sees the claws, and I feel shadow look at her through my eyes. “Goodbye, Amy, may hell torture you,” I say, and even in my voice I hear Shadow.

I plead, and she looks into my eyes, searching for any hesitation, but when she doesn’t, she drops my hands and moves away. “Fine, I’ll tell you.” My excitement is swiftly wiped away by her next words. “The shadow god is an abomination. He was never supposed to be born. He’s the product of an unholy ritual, an anomaly.”

“It’s just a short visit. I’ll be back in two days. No need for a caravan.” He hesitated, but I leaned forward, brushing my lips to his cheek. “I’ll be fine, my love.” And just like that, I left. But not for Dawnmist. I arrived under the cover of night at Moonshadow Pack, my hood pulled low as I made my way to the abandoned quarters near the edge of the territory where Amy waited. She was exactly as I remembered beautiful, smug, dangerous. The moment I saw her, rage flared through me. My hands itched to wrap around her throat and squeeze until her secrets bled from her mouth. She knew too much. Too many names. Too many truths. Including mine.

Amy turned to him, her eyes filled with frustration and a hint of betrayal, and Shawn could feel the weight of her gaze piercing through him. Staring back at her, Shawn felt a mix of confusion and concern. "I'm... I mean, I don't know, Amy," he stammered, desperately trying to gather his thoughts and make sense of the situation. Amy let out a curt sigh, her arms folding across her chest. "Okay," she said tersely, her voice laced with disappointment. She made another attempt to turn away, but Shawn knew he couldn't let it end like this. There was a deeper issue at play, and he needed to understand why she was so upset.

“I will follow them stealthily.” “Nah, don’t bother.” “... I will protect Hades and Persephone with my whole life.” “I will leave them to you, then.” “Please trust me.” “I will.” Amel vanished once again. Shadow shifted her gaze at the tree near her, the corner of her lips twitched two times. “Fun, fun, something is fun. Chasing games is fun. Should I kill for fun… I just want to do everything for fun.” She walked away while singing the song that only she knew.

I said with a stern voice and saw her stand up straighter and her eyes cast downwards. ‘That’s right pup, show me some respect.’ I gloated internally. Shadow simply shook her head in amusement at my petty victory. “Good evening Alpha.” She greeted timidly while my eyes fell to the cup of coffee in her hands. If there was one thing I had learnt about Amy in all the years I slaved for her, it was that she never and I mean never drank coffee. In fact, she never failed to express her disgust for the beverage saying how bad it was for the skin.

The packs that had been my enemies, especially the Blood Moon Pack, immediately started going after Amy. The same things that had happened to me started happening to her. Half a month later, as I baked wild berry cookies for some travelers by Aurora Lake, one of them brought news: "Did you hear? The Darkshadow Pack's new Luna, Amy, was killed by their enemies. They say she was tortured for three days and nights." After they left, I went to the lake's edge. Watching the crows fly over the water, I realized that the Darkshadow Pack, Amy, Adam... those names felt like they were from another lifetime.

Casie: "Hey Amy... I didn't ask you earlier but what's your secret power?" Amy: "I can do shape lifting. I can take any creature form." Casie: "Wow that's interesting." Amy: "However now that you asked I am thinking maybe I can take enter in Demonalia by shape lifting myself into any other form.' Casie: "I am not letting you go alone, Amy. It's way too dangerous. Moreover, you are the princess. People here need you." Sam: "Casie is right Amy. We will think of something else."
