He looked at me uneasily for a moment and then said, “Hunters aren’t fully human either. We’re not supernatural beings like werewolves, but we’re different from average humans. That’s how we’re able to do what we do. Some come from witch and wizard bloodlines, others heroes of old lore… but there’s always something about our bloodlines that gives us a stronger edge.”

Syria was a nightcrawler, and when I touched her... "That means all the others are..." I looked at Hunter who nods before saying, "Dragon shifters. They were cursed, but you can lift it. You can save them, just like you saved Syria," he tells me as I step back and gasp.
