I gently raised my head away from his shoulder, and that seemed to have drawn his attention. “You're awake". He said and I nodded. His eyes went towards my chest and even though I knew he wanted to see if my wounds were healed, I used the jacket to cover myself up shyly. I heard him sigh before looking forward. It didn't take long before we finally got to the Royal blood pack, the pack of lycans. The creatures that are ten times bigger, faster, stronger, and smarter than normal werewolves. This was it, I was finally away from the Golden pack, away from my dad and sister for life.

I moved away and decided to go through the files I'd taken. I saw lists of supernatural species to be hunted. He could never get enough of the game like he'd called it. Hunting our kind, hunting every kind of supernatural beings brought him pleasure. They were all pawns in his sick games. I hoped and prayed he had the answers I'd seek.

Caitlin flew through the night sky, racing for all she was worth. In one hand, she clutched the three keys, feeling her father's presence with her strongly. In the other, she clutched the vial holding Violet's blood, feeling the energy pulsing through it, praying, hoping beyond hope that this small vial of blood could save Caleb's life. Blood poured everywhere, and Caitlin stopped it with her hands. Blake reached down, tore a strip of fabric off of his shirt with his teeth, and handed it to Caitlin. She took it, and wrapped it tightly around the wound. Finally, the bleeding stopped. Blake bent down, grabbed the tip of the arrow, and held it up to the moonlight. “As I thought,” he said. “Silver-tipped. These were not hunters. They were vampire hunters. Looking specifically for types like us.” Caitlin looked at the arrow tip, and saw that he was right. She looked at his wound in concern.

“It was supposed to be the other way around.” She smiled back. “You saved me, too,” she said. But before the two of them could collect themselves, suddenly, there was another crash. They turned to see, in the far corner of the church, several more windows get shattered. She could not believe it. Who could it be now? In flew Kyle, Sergei, and Kendra. The three of them spread throughout the air, each holding unusual weapons, and flying right for them. At the same time, the huge doors opened from the rear of the church, and in poured hundreds of new vampires, all clearly loyal to Kyle.

Hopefully you'll enjoy the next generation of Guardians as much as you enjoyed the first trilogy. Also, if you haven't tried it, I have a book out called The Arena.
