However, right before I take a bite, I ask, “What about you two? Are you waiting for your mates, or have you decided you are going to date someone, anyway?” I glance at Shane and then Dee as I take a bite. Shane shrugs. “I don’t know. I have a few one-night stands, and a few flings here and there, but I don’t know if I actually want to have a relationship with anyone. I think for right now, I’m going to just enjoy myself. If and when my mate comes along, I will worry about it then. However, it has been a few years since I’ve turned 18, and I still haven’t found my mate. Maybe I never will.”

Shane reminisced about how he and Andrew used to train each and every day. From a very young age, Shane was physically gifted. He grew up in a rural area to the south of Mexico. His father used to work in one of the mines, so Shane was used to physical labour. He helped his father at one time when he was only ten years old at the mine, when an accident happened that changed his life forever.
