Beast’s Origins

Beast’s Origins

“Casey, is there something wrong?” “You’re a hybrid.” He says. Ember and Bella turned around to him. “That’s impossible. There are no hybrids except what Selene made centuries ago. Shifters… like werewolves, werebears, werecats, Skinwalkers, and creatures of that nature. Wait… can you shift… into a demon?” Casey asks. I nodded my head. “I can. Why?” “Demons can’t do that. They only have one form unless they disguise themselves as humans to trick people.”

The 7 Princes of hell.

The 7 Princes of hell.

She was going to die! "Haha hahaha! Humans ...humans...HUMANS! VERY AMUSING" The demon let out a creepy laugh that shook everyone. "Kill them and grant my wish!" The girl raised her tone. In response, the demon tilted its long head and shifted its gaze from Sarah to the group of traitors. It stepped out of the shadows, revealing its deformed body. It had one eyeball fixed in its sockets while the other dangled around his neck area. Tentacles sprouted from its back and it had long claws in place of fingers.

I remain silent. He said flatly. Disgust. “Look dude I’m not into-.” Before I can grasp what happened the air in the room shift, he grabs my face harshly and clenches his jaw as he says, “Stop fucking playing already. Why haven’t you shifted your eyes? And why do you smell so much like human?” He so close I can feel his breath on my face.”What kind of demon are you?” He’s fuming, the whole room is started to heat up. Is he doing this?

Mated To The Alpha Alien

Mated To The Alpha Alien

Abruptly, my body goes limp as the white-cloaked demon releases me from its torturous grasp, tossing me to the ground like a piece of unwanted garbage. “Tell me, All-mighty mother. What is it that you saw?” The Shapeshifter eagerly asks. The white-cloaked demon is a she? “She is ripe and strong enough to breed with.” “So the prophecy was right.” Excitement laces his words. “A strong female with chestnut brown eyes will be bought to me to bear my double offspring?” A whimper escapes past my lips as I continue to drown in a sea of darkness. The ringing in my ears slowly starts to subside, and I curl into a fetal position while my core violently trembles with terror and agony.

Definitely wasn't expecting the writing to be great! Usually when I come across popular werewolf stories, they contain many grammatical and spelling errors but this one showed how the author really take time crafting their chapters. I'm not into the werewolf genre but this one is greatly written!

The Demon

The Demon

Unfortunately for them, half-demons had keen senses. I woke up right as they started to cut open the fabric of the tent, the bastards. Just you wait, I’ll force you to sew it up yourselves. And of course, I couldn’t help but change my shape to demonic, seeing as I had just woken up and was furious as hell.

Lycans Alpha Rejected Mate

Lycans Alpha Rejected Mate

*** I knew if I had used a car, I wouldn't catch up with them, so shape-shifting was the fastest means to meet up and just as expected, they were right in front of me, accelerating even higher than normal and speeding at an incredibly high race. Right now, the desperation that pulsed through me, ripping their skin and separating their heads gave me enthusiasm. I was tempted to use that hidden part of me. A part of me I have never revealed. The demon I am and will forever be. The forbidden blood of a dark socerrer that ran through my veins, gnawing and plummelling at my own existence and in a bid riled by my bloodthirst I, casted the very second spell "á sïx tü bìōdöwéñ". The car freezed ahea

Dawn of the Gatekeepers

Dawn of the Gatekeepers

Alicia walked up to Cassandra slowly and put her pistol between her eyes. "Now is one of those times where I won't hesitate to use my powers on you. What truth, you failed to mention that you betrayed me in this timeline as well." Cassandra looked at her in the eyes. "Demonya, she has an ability that I can see none of you ever knew. She can shape shift into anyone she knows. She's been planning this for ages. You all were so worried about protecting the five realms you didn't stop and look at what was really happening."

Demons From The Past

Demons From The Past

Chapter 27: Talk She wore her troubled past like scars- she had been through battle. And though no one could see her demons they could see the face that conquered them. *************** My head throbbed painfully and I found it difficult to open my eyes. I could hear voices arguing. "Why should I even trust you? You're probably a psychopath who resembles her deceased brother because of some weird coincidence!" "For the last time, I am her brother!" "You're an ever bigger asshole if that's true! How could you abandon her like that? You coward! Do you even realize what you put her through? She almost got killed because for you!"

The Demon Queen's Destiny

The Demon Queen's Destiny

I made sure to use the same relaxed, casual form. “You shouldn’t have made up that story about being a demon.” He laughed. “There’s no such thing as a fat desire demon. Did you come hoping to find a shapeshifter boyfriend? Maybe an incubus or concubus is more your taste? I’m gonna send you home before you distract our people more with your stories.” He growled. I took a deep breath and let it out slowly. He was telling the truth. That’s what he actually thought. I didn’t mind.

Loved reading this series! Development for the main characters hve really gotten tight & well-rounded w/alot of imagination & emotion. I thought how Maddie recd t/gift of the life crystal from the fae king & their relationship was a really creative detour & explanation of her&Indie's resurrection.

The Demon's Daughter

The Demon's Daughter

"Olive, I know you're in there. This is not you. This is—" "Get a grip, Madeleine. Who do you think has been luring Mortals to this cathedral? The person you called your friend is not a person. She is a Shapeshifter, a demon I have set on your trail since you were ten. She has been following you and your father through the cities, morphing into all the faces you remember." Maddie cast her mind back, trying to remember the faces of people who had worn the skins of strangers, but underneath had been her best friend—Olive. She couldn't scream nor say anything. All she could do was stare in horror at her demon mother.

Frequently Asked Questions

Shapeshifting demons often get written as generic monsters, but the coolest ones weaponize perception. A demon that can become your dead spouse to extract a promise, or mimic the family dog to listen in—that’s psychological horror, not just claws and fangs. The terror isn't in the transformation itself, but in the erosion of trust.

I read a web serial once where the demon couldn't hold a form unless the viewer genuinely believed it was real. So it had to study its target’s memories and speech patterns meticulously. The power’s limitation became its most frightening aspect. That idea of a power being a double-edged sword, where the weakness creates the real narrative tension, is what makes it stand out from a werewolf just changing at the full moon.
