There are many types of shifters living in the world; wolf, bear, fox, coyote, cat, the list is quite extensive. Each shifter’s body contains two souls, as humans call them, or spirits, as we call them. Both spirits have distinct personalities and voices. Yes, our animal side can communicate with us through human languages, they aren’t just mindless animals, but they do function on mostly animal instincts. Most shifter’s animal side have names. My wolf is Zeus.

Tyee... Alpha Wolf Heart of the Blood Moon Pack, fearless protector of our lands." With that, Ahanu threw a small rock in my direction before shifting into his wolf, Ash, taking off for the river. If it's a chase he wants, he's got it. I let out a playful howl before shifting into my wolf, Dakota.

People would have mistaken her as a tree from afar if they didn't see the long white hair behind her. Her dress was made from the leaves with no sign stitched together.

She pulled over a basin of water and submerged my hands in it, scrubbing them while I murmured things that not even I could understand. I must have been in shock.
