Shard Metal Sonic Novels & Stories

the commander shrieked, scrambling backward as his vanguard was butchered in seconds. Two massive, heavily armored trucks at the edge of the park activated roof-mounted sonic disruptors—the same high-frequency weapons that had incapacitated our pack back at the castle. A visible wave of distorted air shot toward Killian. He grunted, his advance slowing for a fraction of a second as the agonizing sound hit his sensitive Lycan ears. No you don't. > I stood within the safety of my dome and raised my left hand. I tapped into the Void. I didn't just mute the sound this time; I weaponized the shadows beneath the trucks.

“If I’m right, this shard was trying to ‘copy’ our rhythm.” “Then it’s going to get the wrong score,” I say. “But first: let’s take it apart and study the pattern.” Rhaell draws a thin bone wand tipped with soft leather. He slides it under the shard, lifts, and sets it on the stone table. No crack, no clack. A good sign. It doesn’t drag a magnet, doesn’t exude cold. It remains an object. Mae holds the silver-thread ring over the shard. The copper gives a single, very soft chime, then falls silent. “Minimal spatial distortion. Not active—just holding a pattern.”

"…other shard… holds the key…" I lunge for the distortion, for the shard. My fingers brush the freezing, unstable surface of the ripple— A concussive thump vibrates the air. Not sound. Force. A Council null-pulse. It slams into the distortion. The vortex collapses inwards with a sound like tearing silk. The corrupted shard vanishes. The ripple is gone. Just damp brick again. Across the square, a scout lowers a bulky device. Another nods curtly into their comms. Efficient. Cold. Victorious. They melt back into the bewildered crowd as quickly as they appeared.

Eric replied. “These Pods are made from the same tech as the academy, “Natalie said. Which means they won’t be easy to break with brood force,” “Plus we don’t know if smashing them will kill the hybrid or not Rick added. Just as we never discussing our situation, an unsettling sound of robotic movement filled the air. “Guys what the hell was that?,” I asked. A stream of green metal shards spiraled from the ceiling constructing a large mantis like monolith coated with silver and teal colored steel.

He snapped his fingers and the result was a loud roaring thunder that sent an enormous shockwave destroying everything in its path. "Let them hear the thunder" Shin said smiling as as he took off with a sonic boom. The enemies were still rampaging through the city when they heard something that sounded like thunder get closer and closer. At first they thought it was a storm, but they looked up and saw a clear blue afternoon sky. Then they looked behind them and saw Shin storming through. His appearance had changed from what it used to look like. His hair was no longer white but pure black, the blue in his eyes turned gray and presence he emitted was strong.

Mickey “I will be there in a second,” I responded, tucking my phone into my bag. My heart kept pounding inside of me as my silver heels made a soft sound on the floor of the room. I had just arrived at the high profile event that I had been invited to. The room was buzzing with so much life and there was some soft melodious music playing in the background. “A live orchestra band!” I almost blurted out. It was rare to see a love orchestra band in a business event.

Her parents and his warriors were going to confront the Lycan Alpha. But the certainty of her father winning in the battle cannot be guaranteed. She can't afford to lose her parents exactly how she lost her grandparents. She would fight side by side with her parents. After all her strength surpasses that of some warriors. She can't say if her strength surpasses or equals her parents, but she knows she is strong enough to join in the battle. She would fight, she has to protect her parents which invariably means she was protecting her entire pack. The sword her father gave her on her fourteenth birthday was made of silver. She got other silver made swords of herself and some few sharp knives,

"Second, the 'Flash-Freeze.' It’s a concentrated version of the stabilizer you’ve been stealing. When inhaled, it triggers a hyper-calcification of the marrow. Its 'locks' their shift. If they're mid-transformation, they stay that way, fragile, brittle, and incapable of using their strength." "And third, the Sonic Disruptor. Their hearing is 20% more sensitive than a natural wolf’s, as your friends had demonstrated at the arena, but much more lethal. This device emits a frequency that resonates with the kinetic redirection plating in their bones. It creates a feedback loop. To them, it feels like their own skeleton is trying to vibrate itself into powder." My father reached under the desk an

She lunges forward, her hand darting toward my throat with a hidden, high-frequency sonic blade, but Clyde is faster. He doesn't let her reach me. His massive hand snaps out, catching her wrist in mid-air with a sound like a cracking branch. The shadow-aura around him flares, a localized, suffocating vacuum that instantly neutralizes the sonic blade, turning the metal to brittle, grey dust. "She’s poisoned," Clyde growls, his golden eyes narrowing as he detects the familiar, metallic tang of the Silver-Sieve in the woman’s blood.

No elemental core could safely enter that atmosphere for long Fire would consume itself in rage, Earth would absorb the despair, Ice would shatter. "We need a cleaning crew that can isolate the vibration without absorbing it," I concluded. "We need the Sonic Academy." Mela and Rix, the students who had mastered the Code of Resonance, led the effort. They entered the chamber armed with their Sonic Transducers. They used their skill not to amplify, but to cancel. They generated a precise, inverse frequency the perfect sound of nothing to neutralize the lingering Shadow vibration. It was delicate, exhausting work, but their mastery of sound's geometry allowed them to safely purify the area atom
