Shard Metal Sonic Novels & Stories

As the shirtless man grew closer, Amy could see how the man’s skin shimmered like the metallic paint on her BMW. She noticed the shirtless man’s ripped blue jeans, which sagged around his waistline. The black bandana tied around his bald head gave him the only human element. Amy’s throat went dry when she got a better look at the mechanized man holding her son. She could clearly see how the robotic man’s design shared 2Pac’s likeness, and it creeped her out. To Amy, the metal man looked like a bronze statue of 2Pac if it came to life.

The sharp metal glinted in the afternoon light. “Okay soft spot that should slow your opponent down. The eyes. The knife doesn’t have to be too long to cause a lot of damage. The left side of the chest is where the heart is located. The neck is soft and finally the gonads." He came up behind me and slid the knife into my hand. It was heavier than I thought it could be. I could feel his breath on the back of my neck. I shivered. His other hand slid to my hip. While his foot moved my legs into a wider stance. He slowly pulled my arm back and then jabbed it forward. The momentum threw me a bit. “You need to stay grounded dove.” Again he showed me. This time I hugged the ground with my toes cur

Riska shouted at the Master AI. The Master AI blinked, and suddenly a powerful, low-frequency sound wave swept through the tunnel, heading straight for Kevin. VVVVWWWOOOOMMMMMM! Kevin staggered, his hands reflexively covering his ears. His 'Level 3 Synthetic Buff' gave him physical strength, but it did not make him immune to sonic attacks. "Argh! What is this?!" Kevin roared, his protein pistol wavering. "That's a modified version of the 'Sugar Disintegration Sonic Wave,' Kevin!" Riska shouted, her voice firm.

Sora was a hybrid, a biological asset that had been the silent prize in the war between shifter clans and human hunters. Vardan reached for Sora’s arm, intending to haul him back into the shadows of the bunker, but Aidan was more tactical. Aidan pulled a small silver disc from his tactical pocket. The object hissed, then suddenly emitted a sharp, agonizing high-frequency hum. The sound felt as if it were shredding eardrums and forcibly pulling the nerves from Vardan’s skull. The Alpha dropped to his knees with a pained groan, clutching a head that felt ready to explode under the pure silver frequency.

Moana’s POV The clash of metal inside the high council chamber was deafening, the sound echoing off the vaulted timber ceilings like a localized thunderstorm. Sharon’s battleaxe caught the torchlight as it came down, a brutal, horizontal swing meant to cleave Eldrick in two. But Eldrick didn't parry. He ducked beneath the heavy iron head, his movements fluid and unnaturally fast, driven by the raw power of the renewed bond. He drove his short trench blade upward, slicing through the leather straps of Sharon’s shoulder guard, drawing a thick line of red across the warlord's chest.

My vision flared white-hot, the skin along my fingers splitting as my claws extended. I pushed off the floor with a terrifying burst of speed, my teeth bared, intent on tearing the leader’s throat out. Before I could land a blow, two of the mercenaries stepped into my path, before raising heavy, metallic cylinders. Suddenly... a high-frequency sonic blast ripped through the air, vibrating at a pitch designed specifically to disrupt an Alpha’s nervous system. I staggered with my head exploding in blinding pain as the runic silver chains wrapped around my torso like living serpents, burning deep into my flesh.

Forbidden in the Culling. “This,” he said softly, “will purge the venom from your veins. Strengthen you. Heal you. With this, you could carve Dante in half, silence Selene’s laughter, gut Akira before he even lifts his blade. And when the dust clears, you and I will stand together, father and son. The bloodline unbroken.” The shard glowed like a heart torn fresh from a chest. Its heat brushed my skin even from a pace away. My body screamed for it—my veins, aflame with poison, clawed for relief. My knees nearly buckled at the sight.

The sound is a weaponized resonance, engineered to detonate the silver curse and obliterate the elders into fine powder along with anyone listening. The destructive sonic wave threatens to tear our eardrums apart, turning the sacred assembly hall into a screaming vortex of shattered metal and high-frequency agony. I grit my teeth against the blinding pain in my temples, raising my arm to shield my face as jagged fragments of silver rain down across the dais like deadly shrapnel.

Instead, they would hide like venomous snakes in the shadows, waiting for a moment when he let down his guard to strike. Ray had no intention of living with that kind of threat hanging over his head. At this point, he no longer cared about exposing his abilities. He paused briefly, opened a spatial portal beneath his feet, and fired three more sonic stones. Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh. They streaked toward Lucas and the others in pursuit. A "sonic stone" earned its name because it truly traveled at the speed of sound—about 340 meters per second. And how far away were Lucas and the others? Less than a hundred meters.

A stone__pale grey and Glowing faintly. I stared at it, heart stopping. “Where did you get that?” I whispered. “It was on the altar when we returned. Freshly placed.” My mouth went dry. “That’s a Soulshard.” He nodded grimly. “And it has our son’s aura inside it.” My knees nearly buckled. “What does that mean?” I asked, already fearing the answer. Finnick swallowed hard. “It means someone or something is starting to take pieces of him.” The Soulshard flares suddenly in Finnick’s hand so hot he drops it. It hits the ground and cracks open. A whisper escapes from the shard__ an unmistakable voice. “Help me, Mama.”
