she exclaimed, almost jumping on me. I didn't need to be told it didn't just come from my recent popularity. Far from it, the internet blogs hadn't carried anything positive. Pictures of our date last night had been uploaded by another blog. A puck bunny... one-night stand or study mate? The oblivious title came with a hashtag and comments. Insults poured in like rage bait.

A job, anything to keep my hands busy until I figured out what I actually wanted to do. I opened my laptop to scroll through listings. Then I remembered what I had done the night before. I laughed to myself and pulled the blog up, expecting to read it back and cringe. The post had blown up. Someone with a big following had shared it overnight, and from there it had taken on a life of its own. Hundreds of comments already, more pouring in as I watched. "Holy shit," I breathed.

"Just waiting for you to get started on this blog. Really, that's all?" "Really? That is all, the look wasn't you considering fucking me seen as you have woken me at 5am? You do realise, I can't just click start a blog and write! I have no idea how to do this, I will need to learn about this stuff and which sites are best to use"
