Darren cut in and Meredith just groaned and said, " just come home Darren, she's here!" Darren groaned in response and looked at Sharlynn. " Come on babe, let's go. Duty calls." He said and without another word, Sharlynn kissed him briefly and they headed out of the woods, talking in a hushed tone and laughing all the way. When they reached Kenny's backyard, they saw Ricky-Shawn, Kenny, and the other guys who ran into the woods before. They were all shirtless and wet and some were drinking and chatting animatedly as they all sat on logs of wood and they used the fire they'd made to keep themselves warm.

I’ve seen something else in the woods. Creatures with pale skin and sharp teeth. They have eyes that glow at night. They don’t hunt deer. They watch. I’ve felt them. My men have seen them, too. It’s moving towards me, I’m too young to die and not by a shark attack, that will be to embarrassing for a wolf. The shark closed it teeth on my shoulders and I yell, shaking my body as though that will get it off me. Sia grabs the shark by that sharp thingy, after it has a chunk of my flesh in its mouth. Its jaws are snapping, eyes wild. He delivers a kick to the belly, and the shark growls in pain. He ignored it and focused on me.

"This area is called Shark Bay. There are a lot of sharks here." Sharks! Hilda looked into the telescope excitedly and saw shark fins gliding through the water a distance away. She was excited to see a real shark for the first time in her life. Grabbing Nathan, she said, "Hubby, quick, look over there. There are sharks!" Nathan looked over and was able to spot the sharks swimming in the water. "There really are a lot of sharks here." It was hard for her to suppress her excitement when she was seeing sharks for the first time. She kept looking into the telescope, but the sharks remained a distance away from them.

The prairie is every bit as dangerous as the sea, and here, sharks hide in every shadow. The scent of smoke hits my lungs, and I slow, lifting my head to take a deep breath. Something is on fire. I come to a stop and inhale a few more times. The scent of burning timber registers. This isn’t a grass fire. It smells like the forest after a lightning strike. But there is no forest near us. It has to be a structure fire. Another whiff brings the milder scent of burning leather–and then a fainter note of fur and flesh. “What is that?” Kan asks through the mind-link.

But the water gave nothing. A shadow passed beneath me, large and slow. My body tensed, eyes narrowing. A shark. Long and gray, circling with curiosity. “Not now,” I hissed, baring teeth. It circled again, drawn by the scent of blood still diffused in the water. My claws itched to spring forth, but I forced them back. I had no time for beasts. Not while she was out there. Still, it came closer. I shot down, faster than it expected, and slammed my fist against its snout. It shuddered, twisting away with a flick of its tail, disappearing into the blue.

Sharon said. "And should we think of going after them?" Elsa asked. "These weapons and armory are advanced, it requires a lot of knowledge and experience." Sharon said. "So a brainy is behind this?" Elsa asked. "A scientist." Maggie said. They all heard a roar in the woods. "am i the only one who heard that?" Aiden asked cleaning his eyes. "There's a werewolf in the woods." Sharon said standing up. They all began they run into the woods. Sharon hid behind a tree and peeped.

I said. He nodded and shrugged. "A patrol was taken by the Sheriff and his men in the woods and they discovered a large massacre of animals in the woods." He said. I was puzzled and surprised. "A large massacre?" I asked. He nodded. "What has that got to do with you, admiral? It's not your job to know this." I said and he nodded again. "You're right, Skye. The Sheriff says this is going beyond him as he discovered some humans that were missing a few days ago, died in the woods." He explained.

She tasted better than the drink did. Deep in the water, an enormous dark mass started circling their boat. Charlotte noticed it first, signaling Lucas with her hand, quietly. Multiple stabs of fear pricked her skin as she observed the mass enlarge near the surface. Lucas held onto her tightly, hoping to drive her fear away by being close to her. The Nassau beach was known to be home to many wild animals including sharks, and none of the had imagined encountering such obstacles on their first day without a plan.
