Suddenly, a bright purple light appeared above her and shone all over the room. It went silent for a while, and then she started chanting again, this time quickly and in a totally different language, which was like it was known to her alone. The light dissipated. In front of Harriet, Patrilia, Kelvin, and Peter stood a dashing old man, clad in an expensive black suit and leather shoes, holding a golden walking stick in his hands that shimmered under the room.

I opened the book on the appropriate page where the spell was located and wound the pendulum's chain over my hand, holding the sharpened crystal hanging from its end just above the map. This item, when one uttered a spell, would locate anyone I could think of. The more I thought about this person, the faster and more accurately the pendulum would find them. So I started thinking about Oliver, more and more every minute, clos
