I nodded, "Very much. This could be our temporary base. It's farthest from the entry points, it's well within the confines of the house, far from prying eyes." He looked at me, smiling, "Well look at you, an expert in siegecraft yeah?" I shrugged, "I used to play World of Warcraft everyday when I was little, I have an eye for these things." Luciano looked at me, impressed, a mix of concern and admiration on his face. "How did you not get bullied in school for being a nerd?" I smirked, "The ugly boys get bullied, the sexy girls get the attention." That seemed to set him off as he threw back his head, laughing hysterically, his deep voice booming over the room .

I should stand up and get the hell out of his place. But I couldn’t move, and I couldn’t look away either. I was totally drawn to the scene before me. I’d never seen anything like this in person. She is way too fierce for a nerd. In some cliche movies or plays, geeks are suppose to be easily frightened, mainly trembling, shrinking violet, and demure but seeing her now, I guess nerds can be a badass too. My plan of yelling at Kalez just flew out of my mind because of her. Goddamn it! All of my tiptoing and all was put waste because of Kalex. What am I gonna do now?!

This girls wore the fanciest clothes, went to formals and the hottest boyfriends, it was often normal that people like them would find people like me -typical nerd, with the thin squared pink glasses, the metal braces for my protruding teeth and the fact that I never got asked out and did I mention I was black? "U.G" They coined an acronym for the ugliest girl each semester and this year -it was me. So you hardly passed by me without calling or hearing U.G or things like nerd alert.
