I recently learned that I had a title among these students. 'Pretty nerd.' They thought I was a nerd. I was homeschooled for half of my life and never had the opportunity to attend live classes or socialize with people of my age. I often felt like I've lost a lot in life, but I also knew I would make a lot out of this same life. My nerdy behavior was mostly because I was finally pursuing my dreams, and I was fully dedicated to it, so it didn't matter to me what I looked like in others' eyes or what they called me.

When I was reading, the rest of the world faded into nothing. Still, I pressed on, lowering my voice. “Can you not call me that? I have a name.” "Whatever you say, nerd." I rolled my eyes, already tired of hearing that word. Sienna wasn’t done. “Here’s your pen back, nerd. Thanks, nerd!” I growled under my breath as she dropped the pen onto my desk like she’d just done me a huge favour.

The trip there was silent, with me reading one of my favourite books, Liam and Cole on their phones and Will driving. Honestly, I was so glad to be leaving this place for a year. For some reason my school is really behind and still pick on the 'nerds' of the school. Which is pretty much just me. Sure there are the 'geeks' but everyone classifys me as the 'nerd', stupid labels. I'm bullied constantly but hey, what can you do? Maybe I could stand up for myself? I hear a small voice from behind me. I turn just in time to see little Arnold Peterman running down the hall right behind me. Arnold is one of my students, well, former students after today, and is known as the class nerd. I hated the way he was bullied and spoke to his parents often about it, but they aren't necessarily the kind of folks that stop everything and help their children out.

"Get back home. Isn't your parents worried about you? what are you doing down the streets early in the morning?" This guy. why isn't he letting me speak "I....I need to deliver these newspapers" I grabbed my cycle "Anyways....I'm sorry for bumbing into you. please don't tell anyone that you met me here" "Hey nerd!" I paused turning towards him annoyed "I...I'm not a nerd...I just do well in exams" "That makes you a nerd" He chuckled picking something from his pocket "Here" He tossed it which I barely managed to catch. I looked at it and it was a hot pack.

The soft cotton material of his hunter green shirt caresses my cheek. I feel him chuckle and I look up to see his soft blue eyes are playfully looking at me. "You're such a nerd." I lightly swat his arm. "For your information, we prefer the term intellectual badass." He chuckles again. "As I said... nerd. But you're a cute nerd, so it's okay," he adds and pulls me up so that we are lying on our sides, face to face.

“I thought someone in this family was cool!” “Don’t worry, you’ll meet Aneliese soon,” I assured her. “I’m cool, nerd!” he said, thinking it’d faze her as she opened her laptop and put on her glasses. “I’d rather be a nerd than a failed playboy wannabe.” “What do you mean by that?” Jorel frowned, confused. Maybe it was too much information for his limited brain.

" That's a pretty good brain there nerd " he says " Don't you have other things to do ? " I ask him, getting irritated by his presence " Oh are you telling me to leave ? " he pouts jokingly " Maybe.. now that you understand then leave " I say " I like it when you're angry nerd " he says " Stop calling me nerd,it's Raine " I almost yell " I know it's Raine nerd but I like nerd better nerd " he keeps saying nerd again and again.

She felt like a dwarf in front of him. “I got transferred here. Senior,” he added, casually scanning the crowd before them. “Ohh..I..I am ss..senior too. So…do you have a f..friend here or something?” she enquired, wanting to know more about him. Usually, Serena was good at making conversation, but with this guy, she was having a hard time. This nerd was making her stutter like nobody’s business. “No, I don’t,” he deadpanned as they marched together towards the building. A smile grew on her lips. Creep alert.

I am Sarah Lewis, the most unpopular and unloved girl in college. How pathetic is it in today's times if you wear glasses, don't use make-up, your clothes are not branded and fashionable, and you don't have any bad habits like smoking and drinking? You will be known as a nerd. But what does it matter? I am not one of those rich, spoiled brats, so I am happy with the tag of nerd. But what happens when your heart falls on some spoiled rich boy?
