Chapter 5: In which she is a picky eater. Back in high school, I was the total nerd and a teacher’s pet. Hence the name, Nerdy Savvy. I was the typical nerd with too much to think and remember in science and math than to care about fashion, though I never wore baggy jeans and tees. Thing is, even though I was a nerd, I had a GPA of 3.6 and I wasn’t the brightest person around. I didn’t come from money and I was more concerned about getting into a good college that losing my virginity to the top jock...which just so happened to be Nathan Synclair.

I explained. “So what did you find out?” Asher asked calmly. Unlike Dana who is hot headed, Asher is cool and calm. And he listens with rapt attention. “Those kids are not human especially the one who led them into the forest!!” I said. “You mean nerdy nerd? “Dana asked mockingly. “Who’s nerdy nerd?” I asked confused. “Nerdy nerd is the girl who I enjoy bullying at school. She’s a nerd and always keeps to herself!!”She said nonchalantly.

My Mate and I think he's friend called him Derek, asked and I shrugged. "Because it's the least I could do after what you three went through earlier" I said with a small smile and blinked but nodded "So what classes do you guys have?" I asked and they showed me their time tables and I grinned, "We have the same classes so come on" they exchanged glances before nodding and following me. >I have three new students coming to class with me in a few minutes Uncle, we had a small incident this morning which made us late. I do apologize for the lateness< I sent my uncle through the family link and heard him sigh and could tell he rolled his eyes

I said seriously and they both looked at me. My female classmate stood up and gave me a bad look. "And who are you to tell us to stand up huh? You're just a stupid pretentious nerd! Dumb!" "Dumb? Wait, are you talking about yourself? As far as I remember, your grade is all line of 7." My words caused her to be silent.

I was fuming. “What if I say I do?” He licked his lower lip and the sight of his tongue reminded me of that damn kiss again. “What happens then?” When I didn’t answer, he let out a deep chuckle and smiled. “Don’t worry, you’re not my type. I prefer blondes. Not a crazy redhead.” He deserved another eye roll. “Praise the Lord, the nerd said I’m not his type! Finally, my life won’t be a teenage drama movie bullshit.” I turned around and plugged my earphones again. He made me miss Liam’s amazingly sexy voice. Geez.

I finally asked her out,and i felt somewhat nervous and it was new to me and i know i noticed the nerd because of that bet i had with Ash and Brian but now i think it was getting personal I went home and i told the new help to make a lemonade and bring it to my room and before i went into the shower i heard a knock on the door and i opened it and i took the tray from her hand and dropped it on my dresser and went to the bathroom for a quick shower and wore a black leather jacket and a white shirt with black jeans

He’ll be popular the second that bell rings so I won’t be getting fond of him anytime soon. After a few minutes, he decided to break the ice, “And you are?” “Nerd.” I told him simply. He chuckled lightly before realizing that I was serious and it turned into a frown. “That can’t be right.” He muttered to me. I shrugged in response, “It’s what people call me so it just sticks after a while.” “Okay, what do your friends call you then?” “Freak.” “Oh come on.” He groaned lowly.

In a haze, she flashed back to that blindingly sunny hallway in high school. The boy in a faded, patched-up uniform smiled cautiously, clutching a workbook. He stubbornly blocked her and her crew from skipping classes. His voice rang clear, clumsy yet full of concern. "Shannon, don't fight. You'll get hurt." She shoved him aside, snapped that he was butting in, and mocked him as a nerdy simp. Then she strutted off amid her friends' laughs. The truth was, she felt he was special at first sight. He was a top student favored by the teachers, but his poverty and those ragged clothes made him a joke fodder.

You smiled. "Thanks, Nerd." Nate laughed. "You need a new name for me now because the guys call me nerd." You laughed. "I'll think of one." Nate laughed. "Goodnight, Nate." You laughed. "Goodnight, Nerd." Nate pressed a kiss on your forehead, and you drift off.
