But it actually scared Kak Shella.

'How cruel! She was slowly recovering from the shock when she felt something moving on her nape. And then there were various pairs of legs tickling her sensitive skin. She froze. But when she felt it crawling towards her ears, that's when she flinched and let out a horrifying scream as she slap it off away. And the thing fell to the spot where the light from the fire had reached. It was a huge centipede, just as the size of the thumb on her feet. As she watched it crawl away while holding her chest, she realized what she had done. But it was already too late.

She turned her head again, scanning the blackness in terror. Blood red eyes burst through the black with a sudden flicker of Elika’s eyes, causing her to scream in shock. She reared back, overrun with terror as a shape began to form in the darkness; the face of death himself staring back at her. The dark menacing figure smiled, producing razor-like fangs. She stumbled as the creature laughed, losing her footing on the padded floor. Elika fell back, landing with a deafening thud on the ground. All sound faded from the room as she stared up at the beast, its true face shielded by the darkness.

If the door was unlocked, they could have gone out and survived. I saw Jia glance at the empty seat beside me. I suddenly felt a chill. Dang. Don't tell me... One of their friends broke the chilling silence and scolded the storyteller. "Damn. Why are you telling such a spooky story this time? We are here to club!"

Horror welled up as I knew I had just given away our position behind the rig. The creature crouched down as if he were about to pounce, and I knew we were all about to die. Suddenly I heard a whimpering coming from the far end of the lot and looked up to see an obese, sweat-drenched man huffing and puffing as he dodged around the cars. His face was scarlet red, and I knew if this creature didn't get him a heart attack surely would.

I shook my head to get rid of the thoughts. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted to sleep. I suddenly opened my eyes to see some bizarre creatures coming towards me. I sat up and started moving back till I hit the tree. They did not stop coming, instead they kept coming closer. They looked really scary and they made some strange sounds as they came closer. “Please don’t kill me” I pleaded. One of them grabbed me by the neck and lifted me up. I did not know what happened, it happened so fast. All I knew was that something fell from my dress when he lifted me, and then they started to disperse one after the other.
