I walk into my room and walk straight into the bathroom to have a shower again. The moment the shower comes on, hot water cascading over my skin, I exhale slowly. For a few seconds, I allow myself to simply stand there… still… letting the heat soak into my muscles, washing away the physical tension. But not the thoughts. Never the thoughts of Lucas. I try to get that mental picture out of my head because this is not what I want to think about right now. I work through my need by turning up the heat of my shower, and when the shower head gushes beads of heat against my skin, my arousal nearly dissipates. I hang up as the shower turns off. And all I can think is, that today is going to be long. And everything is about to change.
