Hey everyone! This is the end of Book 2 - His Deadly Mate and the beginning of Book 3 - His Clever Mate. Book 2 left with open storylines on purpose. These will be resolved between books 3 and 4. I hope everyone enjoys and leave me comments. I do love reading them! *winks*

There were two pistols in the safe, some more money and a very important thing for any business - an account book, which included not only numbers, but also a bunch of necessary information. Pimple tucked his pistols into his belt and brought me a book. I skimmed through it and nodded to Chechik. The automatic burst was short and the issue with the old management was resolved. The issue with the surveillance camera was also resolved. Everything that was needed was seen on the other side. Zoya and the girls worked quickly and almost finished stuffing bags with money, and I returned to the prostitutes. Among them were both human women and half-breeds, but they did not look particularly frighte

He could feel it. As he passed some hedges on his way to the gate, the feeling became stronger. Someone was definitely keeping him company. If only they’d make their presence known. When he passed a cluster of tall hedges, he made a sharp turn…and in the shadows, he bumped into another person, almost knocking them down. He grabbed hold of slender arms and kept them from landing on the ground. Silk glided underneath his fingers, and when his vision adjusted to the shadows, silver appeared. So did wide, beautiful dark eyes. Because of the shadows he couldn’t see their exact color, but he remembered from earlier they had looked almost silver—with a touch of blue.

Ronin took that book and kept it in its place and they both were going to their previous place. As they walked some steps that book again fell from that section. Ronin and Sia got goosebumps when they heard the noise of the book falling. They both ran to the book and saw here and there that there was a small animal who was playing in the library but they found nothing and the book was again very far from that section. It was just a second that a book went very far from that section which was not possible and was weird for them.
