BOUGHT BY CRUELEST ALPHA

BOUGHT BY CRUELEST ALPHA

To me. Silence descends. Real silence. Not the oppressive kind. The quiet after the avalanche. The wind sighs through the scarred trees. No screams. No psychic howls. Just… birdsong. Faint, hesitant. The ground feels solid. Still. The bleeding has stopped. Truly stopped.

The Contracted Alliance; Accidental Marriage

The Contracted Alliance; Accidental Marriage

The rain had recently ceased, enveloping the city in a moist silence. Drops trickled down the window of Ethan’s penthouse like sluggish tears, mirroring the light from streetlamps and the distant buzz of late-night traffic. Within, the quietness shared by Ethan and Leena was far from hollow—it pulsed with something fragile, something that was on the verge of spilling over.

LOST AND FOUND

LOST AND FOUND

“Look at this. It’s changing.” He knelt beside her. The charred markings pulsed briefly, then went still, fading into damp earth. For the first time in hours — or days, time meant nothing inside that light — the world felt still. Too still. “Do you feel that?” she whispered. “What?” “The quiet.” He listened. No wind. No birds. Even the river ran silently, as though afraid to draw attention. “Yeah. I feel it.” Serenya rose slowly, brushing dirt from her palms. “This place doesn’t like peace. Every time it goes quiet, something follows.”

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate

Sophia We walk in silence, the sounds of the forest enveloping us. The crunch of leaves beneath our feet, the distant call of an owl, the soft whisper of the wind through the trees—these are the only noises that fill the air between us. Yet, the silence isn’t empty. It’s thick, almost alive, vibrating with all the things left unsaid, all the emotions neither of us is willing to voice.

the alpha is supposed to be blind, it’s the whole premise of the book, yet the author constantly describes him as “seeing” people’s blood shot eyes, watching people walk away, looking at himself. it’s sloppy, bad writing. i don’t recommend the “sometimes not quite blind alpha”
Sirena Mares
Interesting characters. Interesting werewolf lore. I just hope the author never "cures" the blind alpha as he actually is mostly capable anyway. The FL goes through quite the character development, and that's putting it mildly. The quality of the narration and writing itself is publish-worthy.

Silent Memories

Silent Memories

Bathed in sweat, Alissa woke up from sleep. Immediately she sat upright in bed, her heart beat to her chest and she quickly switched on the light. Immediately she calmed down when she saw the familiar bedroom, and Hannah, too, continued to sleep peacefully. Alissa got up and went into the bathroom to wash her face. When she came back she checked her watch. It was now four thirty. She doubted she would go back to sleep. She didn't even want to go back to sleep for fear of being haunted by nightmares again. Actually, she hadn't had nightmares for a long time, but now that she had told Hannah a bit about her past, everything had come up again. She quickly put on jeans and a sweater and left the

she smiled genuinely making me heart warm up to her. I mastered up a small smile and went inside, I felt my anxiety pipe up and I nodded at them in acknowledgment. One good thing about my family is that they all are comfortable with my silence. Apart from my parents no one knows that I can speak again and no one ever forced me to either. It's better this way. Not having to explain anything to anyone. Staying in my own mind, even though it can be harmful sometimes I don't care. "I'm literally stinking and exhausted right now" I wanted to groan but smiled at what Malaika was saying. She was a nice girl with an even beautiful accent. Her Urdu is to die for, god. That's my new inspiration right

A Luna's Silent Tears

A Luna's Silent Tears

The sound of his frantic breaths and piercing cries mixed with the ominous silence of the water, a devilishly beautiful choreography of fear echoing in the air. The earth broke into two, directly halving its support toward him. The tree’s arm on which he hung, laughed like a maniac as it revealed its developed fangs that sprung apart. “No no no...” His voice was hapless and low as he hurriedly escaped the snapping of his arm by the closing fangs. He closed his eyes in anticipation of the cold fate of death embracing him. The silent waters now sang to him lullabies as it awaited the visit of the unexpected guest. Arms stretched wide as the waves swung open the doors of the afterlife to receiv

THE SILENT HARMONY

THE SILENT HARMONY

It was a bridge between the silence of the past and the roar of the present. "Now," Tobi whispered, looking up at the stars that were finally piercing through the dust. "The world is awake. And I think... I think it can finally hear me."
