Silver Crescent Moon Novels & Stories

Something here remembered the Moon. “Stay close,” Delph said, his tone firm. The twins nodded, unusually subdued now. Afnan moved forward into the village. Each step stirred leaves and brittle twigs that had gathered over decades. Moonlight filtered through the canopy in fractured silver patterns, illuminating old carvings on the cottage doors. Crescents. Wolves. Twin circles. Her breath caught. Twin moons. She approached the nearest doorway. The wood was gray with age, but the carving remained unmistakable, one silver crescent engraved above another circle scratched more deeply into the grain.

deep and husky as the waves of our consciences collide together, "But the same soul. The same face. The same name." "Iphigenia." She nods, "We are all but phases on the Moon....but she is the moon. Let me show you my phase, Amella… Turn the clock back to when my phase reigned. The crescent hangs low in the sky-a blood red moon. The belt of Orion hangs between the points, connecting the ends of the moon to what almost looks like a full circle.

And as the sound filled the air, I saw something incredible. The moon began to change, its shape shifting until it was no longer a circle, but a crescent, a symbol of protection and power. And then, from the center of the crescent, a light emerged. It was pure and brilliant, filling the night sky with its radiance. The enemy faltered, their advance halted by this sudden and unexpected sight. They looked up, their eyes wide with fear and awe.

I look at my father's ancient silver crown, noticing a tiny, pulsating purple gem that has embedded itself into the central star-metal peak. The heirloom has rested upon the brow of every ruling alpha of the Crescent Moon Dominion for centuries, forged from sacred lunar metals and blessed with ancestral wards designed to protect our minds from foreign intrusion.

One I have never seen, and couldn't tell what it was. It was a dark silver necklace with a crescent moon pendant. Both the necklace and the pendant had tiny carved runes along their curves, giving them a mysterious and ancient look . A small, silver bead that looked like a moonstone was attached to the pendant, and made it look even more mysterious. Instinctively, my breath hitched, even though I had no idea what the item was, or what it was used for.

But tonight, the valley was drenched in an unnatural, terrifying twilight. High above, the crescent moon was no longer silver. A slow, creeping shadow had begun to eat away at its edge, bleeding a deep, bruised crimson light across the sky. The stars had faded into an ominous slate-grey, and the wind had died down to a breathless, suffocating silence. The cosmic clock had struck its final hour. The Blood Eclipse was here.

There are three butterflies and two of them flew to Asha and Samel’s direction while the last one hovered at the center of the crescent platform while shining brighter and brighter until it could rival the light of the moon like it is just floating a few meters above the garden. The silver bright light caused the guests to narrow their eyes to see the figures on the crescent platform. It was at this moment that the two butterflies that went to Asha and Samel merged into their foreheads as a silver crescent symbol appeared and shot out a string of light directly to the shining butterfly at the center.

The crescent moon smiles down below. Ignorant of the world below. The stars glow, and the moon shines. A tear falls from your eye. The moon smiles a slim, thin grin. Now our story truly begins. Chapter Three: Secrets Revealed “Angelica, you need to calm down,” Astra called from her broom as she descended from the sky and jumped to the ground. Her broom collapsed into a pocket-sized hand broom. Angelica growled at Astra as she moved to a lunge to attack. Astra grabbed the broken necklace from the ground, and it turned into a magic lasso. She dodged Angelica’s attack as the lasso wrapped around angelicas neck, forming a new chain.

My fingers trembled against his shoulders as my heart thundered madly. I pulled back with a sharp gasp, Cassian’s lovely smile calming the panic roaring inside me. Before my eyes, the wound closed on its own, sealing smoothly as a soft glow shimmered along his skin. Startled gasps rippled through the onlookers as the glow grew brighter, shifting and shaping. Right there on Cassian’s neck, a silver crescent moon appeared, cradling the head of the howling wolf. A mark unlike anything I had ever seen.

There, in front of him, was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. She had thick blonde hair and long eyelashes. Her perfectly pink lips brought out the blue in her eyes as she smiled brilliantly up at Liam. Liam, who felt honored just to be in her gaze, smiled back at her. She was wearing her usual peach shirt and white cardigan with jeans and flats. She smiled and did the little bounce she always did when she saw Liam, which of course, made Liam’s entire world glow a little brighter. “Lily,” He whispered.
