The Runaway Heiress:Seven Days of Sin

The Runaway Heiress:Seven Days of Sin

Somehow I thought that salutation would be better coming from a hot billionaire than my best friend. "I'm coming," I called as I crawled off my bed and moved toward the door. The locking mechanism clicked when I turned the key. The old house still had skeleton keys for each room. It was how the unused rooms could be locked from the outside. The obvious problem with skeleton keys was that most every one of them was the same. It didn't take a jailer's ring to open any of the doors. All you needed was one key, unless the key was in place on the other side.

The Wedding Night Curse

The Wedding Night Curse

I began to shake. “You’ll never take me,” I growled through my teeth. Maribel’s tone changed. “You think you have a choice?” The altar beneath the skull began to hum. The walls vibrated. Behind the stone, something moved—grinding, groaning. A portion of the wall slid aside, revealing a hidden niche lined with bones. Dozens of skeletal figures sat in silence, all wearing veils, all with ribbons tight around their necks. Some still had remnants of wedding dresses—silk decayed and stained with time.

On Halloween, I Was Locked in a Coffin by My Brothers

On Halloween, I Was Locked in a Coffin by My Brothers

My second brother, Donald, suggested, "Maybe we should just let her out." My eldest brother, Raymond, seemed to remember something as well. He yelled out in a panic, "Right! I remember now. Sarah has claustrophobia! That might be why she's so scared..." As he spoke, he stepped forward to come to me, but Tiana blocked his path. She pouted unhappily. "Brothers, I haven't had enough fun yet!" "I knew Sarah was afraid of dark, cramped spaces, that is why I didn't play this game in a dark room. Instead, I thoughtfully chose this glass coffin for her.

Araknee: The Lost Princess

Araknee: The Lost Princess

"I think I tripped over something." When Richard brought the light closer, terror struck my heart. Bones. Human bones. Three skulls sat in the midst of what looked like ribcages and bones from other body parts. Richard sucked in a sharp breath. "I guess Hammond wasn't kidding about this place being a literal representation of death." Clifford's arm tightened round me. "We need to get out of h-" Before he could finish the sentence a swell of horrific laughter filled the air, making our horses go berserk.

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

She nodded her head and then turned to leave before Logan took one last glance at her and then headed back to the garage. A roar of thunder could be heard from the dark sky that was shrouded in heavy clouds. As lightning flashed, many of these dark clouds lit up causing the ground to shake lightly. In the morgue room of the council, the forty or so skeletons were set up on a long table, some of them were covered with white cloth as they looked too horrifying while the ones who needed to be identified were disclosed to the people who were observing and examining them. Bright lights illuminated the corpses, while three to four members of the head table of the council were walking around the co

it's a great book so far and I can't wait to see how it ends. There are some grammar corrections that need to be made but they are not to where you can't understand the book. the book is quite long and it's the second longest book that I've read. I was disappointed that a couple of chapters are

I really liked the start of the book but started flipping through chapters and there’s a lot of filler chapters saying the same thing and honestly 700 chapters is way too much..the story line is good but waiting for something to happen made me move on to a different story

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

"For now. My hounds do not like metal. It breaks their teeth." The creature stood up. It was tall, impossibly thin. Its bones clicked like dice in a cup. "But hunger is creative, Warden. If you cannot eat the nut... you eat the soil around it." The Skeleton walked to the ventilation shaft. He sniffed the air drifting down from D.C. "The boy is safe. But his garden..." The Skeleton smiled. His teeth were needles. "The garden is soft." He reached into his rags and pulled out a handful of dust. It wasn't gray dust. It was red.

The Miracle Doctor Won’t Be A Kept Man

The Miracle Doctor Won’t Be A Kept Man

"Don't worry! I'm a doctor. I'm not afraid!" With a faint smile on his face, he headed toward the bones at a quicker pace. Zachary looked utterly bewildered, not understanding Kiran's intentions. As for Frank, he had already figured out that those skeletons had deadly poison from the School of Venom, or perhaps it was the snake venom from that snake. However, he did not understand what was going on. Kiran walked up to the bones and kicked them with his foot. He even kicked over one of the freshly deceased, surprised to see the person's back already rotting while the bones remained intact.

Second Chance for the Billionaire

Second Chance for the Billionaire

"Open it." The coffin actually had five nested boxes—one inside the other. Four outer shells had already been opened; only the innermost part remained sealed. Emily, concerned that Arabella might be scared, gently held her hand and whispered, "Don't worry, the dead are not scary, unlike the zombies in movies." Arabella nodded and replied quietly, "Please, I need to concentrate." "Go for it, dear!" Emily cheered. As the workers opened the coffin, the remains of a desiccated skeleton were revealed. Fragments of silk clothing still clung to the bones, more or less well-preserved. In the impact of oxygen, the vibrant pigments gradually faded before their eyes.

Steel Soul Online

"Well, that's not too far, but it will be stupid to go th- STOP!" The skeleton was walking towards the place it died. As if it was trying to complete the "mission" set by David. Who felt a little touched but mostly annoyed at this behavior. "Ok ok, first we need to get you something to fight back, you'll get crushed if you go unprepared...let's start with the crystals, pick up some of them." The skeleton nodded and tried to take a piece of the purple crystal off the wall until his arms dislocated, but the gem remained unperturbed.

The Reborn Of The Betrayed Luna

The Reborn Of The Betrayed Luna

Then there were noises in the room. Voices of mainly crying men and women… Voices of kids. The voices kept echoing louder and louder and soon the window in the house opened and Linda looked out from it. The houses she saw previously were no longer houses; instead they were steel bars like a confinement for criminals. And there were all kinds of skeletons walking around while in some of the houses were humans screaming loudly… as their bodies were slowly turning to its skeleton structure. The door of the room where she was, opened and other skeletons which were walking around the premises entered into the house where she was and started circling her as the one calling her
