Tara lyle book 1 (Owns it all)

Tara lyle book 1 (Owns it all)

Janet stood by the door as though not allowed to enter and gestured for us to go inside. It was dark inside, and there seemed to be no one. After a while, Ms. Maggot hurried towards us with a big smile that gave us the comfort we hoped not to find. "Welcome to my humble home, Miss Lyle," she greeted, showing us to our seats. "Thank you, Ms. Maggot," I responded, my eyes still roaming around in amusement. The place had a rare design of animal bones and skeletons that, if found in anyone's house at that time, would result in execution for practicing sorcery. The sounds that echoed from her house came from the hanging bones upon the ceiling, ringing like metallic bells.

The Remorse Deep in the Bones

The Remorse Deep in the Bones

Ever since I was young, I knew that my parents' work was unique. My father was a detective who had solved many major cases, while my mother was a forensic artist who was capable of finding clues from the victim's bones. Together, they solved numerous cases. Their most famous one was the White Bone Case five years ago. It was a case about a criminal gang who abducted and killed homeless people before using their bones to smuggle drugs. Since these were real human bones, they could easily avoid being caught by claiming these bones as medical materials.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Then, the owner of the crystal coffin could not enter the void no matter what, even if he pushed the crystal coffin to the extreme! It was because the human skeleton had an order that no one was allowed to reveal themselves! "I'm here to kill you!" The owner of the coffin shook the entire white bone mountain. Clearly, he still had the flesh and blood of the past. He was even stronger than the owner of the golden coffin and the crystal coffin. "You won't be able to kill me." The human-shaped skeleton's words seemed to be imbued with magical power. As soon as they landed, the flesh and blood of the coffin's owner rapidly withered and returned to its previous zombie form.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

You Taste Like Trouble To Me...

You Taste Like Trouble To Me...

Her eyes were fixed on the skull, and she made a small, nervous whine that sounded like the most pitiful noise in the world. Charlotte gaped at her Aunt, then back at the skeleton. “Romy,” She breathed. “Are you not seeing that?” “What?” The older woman snorted, her eyes trailing to the heap of bones. “That?” She waved her arms in large circular motions and then rounded on the skeleton with a louder laugh. “I am NOT falling for this bullshit again. Did you leave that here?” The woman aimed her question at Megan. “Huh? Was this why you were sneaking around, sunshine? Stashed some Halloween decorations in here and wanted to see if they would freak anyone out?” Romy placed her hands on either s

Beyond Night

Beyond Night

He’d fallen and rolled into a vast chamber full of skeletons. He turned, squinting, seeing that it was more than just a depositary of bones. Over and over there were skeletons. Huge skeletons. A majority of them were quite massive and bearing skulls more apish than those of men. Understanding that he stood in a weird graveyard, August figured there was some compliance between the locals and these stinking beasts. That didn’t mean much at the time, as he heard voices from down the way, ahead of him. Barely able to see in the grim light, he flattened against the wall of bones between him and the cave wall, wishing he could climb out, balance on the ledge and go back the way he came. August tho

he said, going in. I hesitated. It was dark and smelled muggy, like dirt and wet cement. "You'll be fine." He flipped on a light. I went in cautiously and immediately wished I hadn't. My legs turned to jelly, and I found myself on my knees, though my first instinct was to bolt back up the stairs. "Snow, it's okay," Pops said quietly. "Think about the Harvard Museum of Natural History. They have skeletons and animals stuffed to make them look real and alive. The same applies here. Think of this as a museum for the supernatural."

Living With My Lady Boss

Living With My Lady Boss

The place looked like somewhere a cultivator practicing in solitude would live. Sitting on the bed was a skeleton in black robes, covered in spiderwebs. The skeleton was obviously devoid of any flesh, but Wilbur was reminded of Stefan at the mere sight of it. Stefan had achieved great things in his time but had still ended up dying here.

Cold Hands, Warm Lies

Cold Hands, Warm Lies

The door hissed open. Beyond it: a room that didn’t match the world above. No marble. No glass. Just metal shelves. Cabinets. Lockers. Screens. Weapons. Files. It looked like a war bunker masquerading as a panic room. Sera’s heart dropped. “This is where you keep your skeletons?” she asked. Lucien didn’t smile. “This is where I bury the ones that still bite.” He walked to a cabinet and opened a secure case. Inside were rows of drives, labeled only by numbers and symbols.

Skeletons Of The Marital Closet

The whole way went smoothly. He even felt like looking for Sam. "I wonder if we can link up. It's so boring going around alone. If it weren't Sam who suggested this, I wouldn't be bothered with something so childish," Zach said. Before he knew it, he arrived at a small room that was only a few square meters large. There was a pile of bones on the ground. Zach kicked it around, looking around and not noticing anything strange, so he turned around and left. The moment he turned around, someone appeared behind him without him knowing.

It's a good book. But it's too slow burn. So many chapters and still ongoing.... I wish for authornim to find conclusion to end this book. Hopefully a HE together for Shawn and Gale with their twins.

If you haven’t started this book yet, so don’t start at all. I am not saying is bad but it’s so slow and boring. The writer starts perfectly and sadly drag it around a year!!! It hasn’t finished yet. You can skip several chapters with no concern because nothing special is happening.

Hated mate

Hated mate

Lucinda took a look at the other side and saw a small room almost empty except for a skeleton sitting on a throne with his limbs crossed. Hmm!!! This is quite weird, how'd the creepy woman get to move a whole mansion and place it deep in a cave, this is basically kidnapping. Lucinda focused all hee mental energy on the skeleton but she found nothing wrong with it, so she decided to examine the room. The room was clean and completely empty, its walls seemed more resistant than the others of the building. 'This should have been some kind of vault, which means that the treasures are with the skeleton.' She neared the throne and inspected it.
