My brother's Best Friend Made Me a Sinner

My brother's Best Friend Made Me a Sinner

"You're like a squirrel deliberately putting acorns in its mouth." I chewed silently, obeying Sean's words to swallow the cookie I ate first before speaking. Looking at the man now, he was very different from our first unkind encounter. Back then, he was very ignorant and took my knowledge of him bringing women into the room as normal. "Have you fucked all the women in this town, Sean?" I was finally able to speak, but it instantly silenced Sean. The man seemed to shift his gaze in another direction but not towards me, making me snort rudely. "If you don't answer, then the answer is correct."

How to be a Sinner?

How to be a Sinner?

Dire-diretsong sabi ni Finn na mabilis ko namang tinanguan. Maling-mali talaga iyon. Can it be considered a sin? Probably.

No saint for the sinner

No saint for the sinner

I rushed out of my hiding place. “Stop!” Father and a man I’ve always prayed to never meet turned to look at me, their movements paused. It was a real struggle trying to force words out of my mouth as I looked at the man I considered to be the devil. Like my day couldn’t get any worse. “Did you hire a clown for our meeting, old man?” the familiar stranger asked. I turned around to look for the clown then realized mid-movement that it was me. I’d forgotten all the glitter in my hair, I probably looked like a mess.

Sinner

Sinner

My undertone with a pinch of sarcasm should be enough of how amazing my trip of hell had been. “We need a deep talk,” But we couldn’t, in the middle of a corridor, until we’d reach ‘the room’ quoted by Luciano’s egotistical brother. “Yeah, I’m aware of that. Since the moment I noticed your bruises, I know all we need is a deep talk,” I was too vexed to talk straight, my failed attempt of escaping made an uproar in my irritation and I was lacking some friendly manners. “What did they do to you? Did that bastard do this to your face?” As I just said that, we heard Audrey clearing her throat. That bitch didn’t like us cursing her honoured master who tortures people for fun.

I enjoyed the story. A bit different than the typical mafia playboy role. Lol I don’t think I can look at strawberries and blueberries the same .... Few open topics left open (Andrea, Lucian’s sisters, the girl with nikola)? Overall I liked the book. Thank you
Allie
Chapter 36 and the first 5 pages of Chapter 37 are repeated from Chapter 35. Also, there are some grammatical errors. However, the storyline was captivating and definitely worth reading. Didn’t like what Luciano did to get Jennifer, but he redeemed himself. Loved the ending.

Live Suicide

Live Suicide

I'd prefer not to commit more sin. Adrastos continued to talk in front of me, so I paid close attention. "Don't deceive yourself. Don't fool yourself into thinking you're kind. You're here because you're a sinner, and you're destined to die here to atone for your sins." My lips curved into a vinegar-like grin. "You are correct. I am a sinner, and I am not worthy of breathing the same air as you guys," I responded. My fate had already been decided for me. I've already come to terms with the fact that I'll pass away to diminish the terrible people on the planet. If I don't kick the bucket here, my bad illness will overtake my life, thus this is a better option.

Bloody Sinners

Bloody Sinners

Blinking rapidly as if trying to absorb the words, father Reed glared at me when he finally figured it out, clenching his jaw. "You killed him?!" He growled. "Took you so long, priest." I leaned forward in my seat to get a good look at his helplessness. "I'm wondering who's gonna do your dirty work now?" Anger was written on every inch of the priests face. He lifted the gun again and pointed it straight at my head. "You've been acting like a saint, giving sermons…where as, you're still deep in sin." I stood up and walked closer towards him. "Your congregation must be thinking so highly of you, how would they react if they were to find out about this other side of you?"

JEMI'S SINS

JEMI'S SINS

he desperately hung on the trail of thought that kept him sane before he was pushed back into the realm, the realm that had him pleading to take back control over his body and mind. he rolled over again and again trying to fit into a position that lessened the agony, it was proving futile "for the wages of sin is death and the gift of God is eternal" who was chanting? it was in unison, voices like thousands of flowing waters hitting on rocks, it wasn't him. "God's gift to mankind to purge them of their sins" "I AM TIRED, I DONT WANT THIS" he whimpered "just let me die" "the gift of God maketh rich and added no sorrow"

Forgive Me Father

Forgive Me Father

The sound vibrated through me, made my skin prickle. His hands tightened at my waist, pulling me closer, guiding me as I rocked down. The friction was unbearable, too much, too good. My head dropped to his shoulder, panting against his skin. “God, Ezra…” he muttered. His voice cracked like he was breaking apart too. That was it. The last straw. Because somewhere in my brain, the alarms finally went off—loud, blaring. SIN. SIN. SIN. What the hell was I doing? I froze mid-grind, heart hammering so hard it hurt. My face burned, my body screaming at me to keep moving, but my soul—my guilt—slammed the brakes.

A touch of sin

A touch of sin

I asked retreating my hand. He wasn’t acting out of drunken confidence. He was clearheaded, sober and the agenda on his face was loud and clear. “I dont like drinking”, he said, his voice deep with an accent I wasn’t expecting. Italian. A chill ran down my spine, and it wasn’t because of how good he sounded. He had power radiating off him, unlike anything I’ve felt in before. Scars adorned his knuckles, but covered in black ink. His hands were steady, too steady to be considered mormal. The stranger was trained - in what? I had no clue.

A Sinful Devotion

A Sinful Devotion

And nothing—nothing—could have prepared me for what I saw. No recognition. No fear. No anger. Just polite confusion. As if I were no one. As if I hadn’t carved his name into my soul a thousand times. His lips parted slightly. “Uh—hello. Welcome. Do you… need a menu?” His voice. God. That voice. Softened by time. Stripped of the steel and loyalty and ache I once knew. He spoke to me like a stranger. Because to him… I was. I forced myself to breathe normally. Forced my face into the cold, unreadable mask that had built an empire.
