I gave him a blank look before stepping away, and he chuckled, standing up straight and leaning down. He kissed my cheek, and I could feel them turning red. Then he patted my hip before turning back towards the stove. I stared at the tattoos on his back for a few more seconds, and he glanced at me before rolling his eyes.
