Sold to the Mafia

Sold to the Mafia

My body feels sluggish and heavy like I've been asleep for days but I'm not sure. I blink my eyes open slowly, feeling disoriented and out of sorts. The light is muted, soft in its descent from the ceiling above. I take a moment to adjust and focus on the space around me. The room is sparse and decorated in soft, neutral tones. It's nothing too fancy but the quality of the sparse furniture is unmistakable. It's rich and expensive. The bed beneath me is soft and smooth against my skin. It's a far cry from the cold and sterile environment I had expected.

Owned on the Ice M/M Romance

Owned on the Ice M/M Romance

Lukas couldn’t remember the last time he’d woken up with someone like this, still sharing the same pillows instead of pulling clothes on in the dark and disappearing before dawn. He turned his head, drinking him in. Aiden looked different in sleep. The hard lines of his face softened, the composure stripped away. His brow, usually furrowed with focus or tension, was smooth. Dark lashes brushed against his skin. His lips, still a little swollen from being kissed until they were raw, parted with slow exhales. Even his hands, capable, precise, always steady, rested loosely against the sheet, fingers curled with unconscious ease. The faint scent of sweat and soap hung in the air, mixed with the

The Blood Moon Prophecy

The Blood Moon Prophecy

This had become a pattern over the weeks since the marking, the bond pulling me toward consciousness slightly before his did, as if my body had learned to wake first and spend a few minutes simply existing in the specific warmth of the space between sleep and morning before the day made its demands. The room was grey with early light. Not the cold grey of before-dawn but the soft transitional grey of a sun that had just decided to arrive and was taking its time about it. Kaelen was on his side facing me, deeply asleep in the way he slept when he had no early council meeting, without the compressed quality that sleep had when part of him was already preparing for the day. I lay still and look

UNTIL YOU REMEMBER ME

UNTIL YOU REMEMBER ME

I only felt the shift. A soft dip in the mattress. The sudden, intoxicating scent of jasmine and warm skin. Then, the slide of bare warmth against my side. I opened my eyes, my breath hitching in the back of my throat. Alessa was there, but she wasn’t there. Her eyes were closed, her features smoothed over by the heavy veil of deep REM sleep. She was a somnambulist seeking heat, her subconscious mind overriding the walls she had built between us during the day.

WORSHIPPED BY MY DAD'S BESTFRIEND

WORSHIPPED BY MY DAD'S BESTFRIEND

Saesha’s POV The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, painting golden streaks across our room. I blinked sleepily, the warmth of Alex’s arm draped over my waist, his breath feathering against my neck. For a moment, I just lay there—listening to the faint, rhythmic breathing of our babies from the nursery monitor. Those little sounds had become the sweetest melody of my life. I turned my head slightly, watching him. His lashes brushed his cheekbones, lips parted slightly, that usual seriousness gone in sleep. There was something unfairly perfect about the way he slept—peaceful, but powerful even in stillness.

The last Guardian

The last Guardian

The room exudes tranquility, with its soft pastel colors and floral accents, meant to offer a serene sanctuary for rest and rejuvenation. As I lay in bed, the darkness envelops me, a shroud of stillness that should bring peaceful slumber but tonight the tranquility eludes me and my mind becomes a battlefield of restless thoughts. My body tosses and turns, unable to find solace in the sanctuary of sleep. Images and fragments of the day swim before my closed eyes, refusing to fade away.

The Woman Who Stayed

The Woman Who Stayed

Had imagined various versions of it — the version where she felt nothing, the version where she felt too much, the version where the seeing of this child produced something she could not manage, some emotion that overwhelmed the careful composure she had been building toward this. What she felt was none of those versions. What she felt was specific. Aisha was asleep. This was the first thing — the completeness of a sleeping baby, the particular surrender of small people to sleep, nothing held back, nothing managed, the total honest rest of someone who did not yet know how to be anything other than what they were. She was, Adaeze thought, beautiful.

Twist of Fate

Twist of Fate

Once I made sure that he was in deep sleep, I sat on the floor beside the couch. Will it be too filmy if I admired him in the middle of night ? I guess it should be. not caring about the time and growing darkness of time i sat there feeling his hot breaths falling on my face. His face looked more adorable while he sleeps, with that messy hairs falling over his face and those alamode shaped closed eyes along with the slow breathing movements. He's too good to be true. His stumble and perfectly shaped jawline was a major plus to his facial features. Not to mention his newly grown beards that give a soft look of him, not a fully shaved and sharp face, nor the hairy face of an unshaved beard. no

it's a love story or sure, but the way she is explaining every emotion of the love between Rishi Anu and Anbu is what makes this book unique. while reading it I felt like I'm back to my clg days, so relatable and connecting. but again the curiosity to know the suspense is killing me. update soon.

Mated to My best friend

Mated to My best friend

Aegon's point of view For some reason, no matter how hard I tried, and I did try; counting imaginative sheep, counting numbers backwards, and other supposedly sleep inducing activities, I ended up tossing and turning rather than getting any actual sleep. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get my mind to take a break and stop showing me one particular image, an image of a petite young woman with very light skin (made even more pale after months of having little or no contact with the sun), in a gorgeous little mauve number that outlined her subtle curves and contrasted beautifully with her pale skin, her ginger hair swept up in some kind of hairstyle that had curls escaping to tease at th

The Alpha's Mate

The Alpha's Mate

In a black and white room, with a minimalist style. Several beautifully affixed photo frames adorn the walls. A handsome person with curly eyelashes, was sleeping on a soft mattress wrapped in a thick blanket. The burly man looks like he is squirming uncomfortably, the sweat on his forehead is also flowing like tears. The sound of irregular breathing seemed to indicate something had happened to his subconscious. "Aaarghh.."
