Benny gave me a hard time from the moment we met.
Ghost nodded, his fingers sliding over his phone. After a few moments, he turned his screen to me, and my forehead creased. It was an old picture of a girl grinning at the camera, missing two front teeth. Those green eyes, round-shaped face, and dark hair belonged to Benny. I squinted my eyes, louring at Ghost’s phone. She was swimming with a few other kids in the shallow parts of a fucking ocean.
My eyes locked with Ghost. “I think there’s something wrong with my head. I should see a therapist, yes?” he asked, already on his feet.
