' I moaned at the end as he finally ended my misery. He started allover again, his pace incredibly fast and impatient. I moaned louder, regretting laying on my stomach. I felt peace when I finally reached my orgasm, sinking into the pillow with delight. He retracted himself from me, dragged my shirt down to cover me, and laid on the bed. I turned around and smiled at him. He was smiling back so brightly, like he just claimed the world as his. I wanted him to remain like this, happy because of me. She cleared her throat noisily, "Tega, you're already part of my life and I'm glad that you're willing to share my world with me. But you would have to let me think about it, please." He pinched her cheek lightly, "There's no problem about thinking. I am fine with it as long as we're still friends and you are no longer mad at me." "I am no longer angry," She told him. "Then prove it to me by smiling." He requested. She reluctantly smiled. "No." He disapproved, "That's too small. A little wider please." She smiled again. "Nope. A little bit wider, please." This time around, she exposed all her front teeth and this got them laughing hard.

Jacob walked behind me, his own eyes cast down, thinking about what lay beneath the mystery of my smile. Smiling gently, lips in a sweet curve, I walked alongside Jacob. My smile was the slow and deliberate kind, a slow smile spreading across my face like a sunrise sweeps across the sky. But Jacob had no idea why I smiled; the satisfaction and control I felt surged through my veins. He looked at me, seeking my eyes for an answer, but I simply continued smiling back in amusement with a glint in my eyes, savoring the moment.

“We have to make them believe this as much as possible. You’re my wife now. You signed the certificate.” Her jaw clenched. I leaned in closer, my lips nearly brushing the shell of her ear. “Smile,” I repeated, softer this time. “Or imagine the smile you’ll have when you make every one of them pay for what they did to you.” That got her. Her lips curved up—not perfectly, but enough. A razor-edged smile, delicate but dangerous, the kind that warned the world she wasn’t as fragile as they thought. Celine let out a satisfied hum. “There she is.”
