I roared. Snow White dived into the fluid screen that was almost back to its normal air state and attacked Joshua’s eyes with her talons and wings. Joshua’s grip loosened on Carys. Coughing and gasping for air, she crawled away from him and towards me. We reached out to one another at the same time while Snow White kept Joshua occupied. Taking in deep breaths, I concentrated on her hand. “Come on. Come on, love.” Our fingers brushed. “Got you!” I grabbed her hand and pulled her through the disappearing fluid screen. It was getting more and more difficult to pull her to my side as the fluid screen had almost disappeared. “Shit!”

After sometime when he didn't respond, Katherine turned back to look at him. The amusement he had moments ago flashed in his eyes momentarily before he spoke. "What is it?" Katherine asked.
