“Doctor Brock, something is wrong with Alpha Wyatt. I need you in his office immediately.” As I turn my attention back to Wyatt, both the Supreme Elder and Doctor Brock chime, “Okay.” I quickly nudge Wyatt’s shoulder a little harder. “Alpha Wyatt wake up. Alpha, you need to wake up.” My breath hitches as his body suddenly goes limp. Shit. He is now unconscious. I quickly grab his shoulders and shake him harder than my previous nudges. “Alpha Wyatt! Don’t scare me like this! Wake up!”

They were all aware that, despite the fact that many people had been killed, some of them might still retaliate, so they should remain vigilant. The I.T guys immediately began tracing the sender of the message, and the result was quite unexpected, but this was something they planned to tell their boss after his honeymoon, as they didn't want to ruin his happy moment. A subtle, almost triumphant smile curved his lips. The awakened man’s eyes widened with recognition, flickering with a mixture of disbelief and dawning awareness.

he hissed in front of the widened eyes of the scared man. He casted him over to the corner, exercised his neck a little, and popped his knuckles, and extended a leg backwards. He build a momentum and then surges his legs towards the surface of the door. On the other side of the door, inside the room, Beta Mellow has already awoken. His neck is suffering from a stiff neck. But his whole body is relaxed and is clearly well rested. “What's with that noise?” he screamed, surely bothered by it.

I think I'm about to burst with excitement. "First, you don't eat them. And second, you don't eat in front of them. If you see one, run. You don't wanna deal with that lot," he started looking at the door, like he want to run himself. "But I heard humans look a lot like us, how'd we know they're humans?" A question from Linus. Sir Maslow looked like he hadn't even thought of that. "I don't know. Just shift and if they start screaming or pulling weapons out, they're humans."

The notion of such a specialized ability intrigued him, even though he remained cautious. "Tell me more about this 'Sonic Resonance,'" Scott urged, his eyes narrowing as he scrutinized the man's expression. The escaped man nodded, understanding the need to provide further explanation. "With Sonic Resonance, I can generate focused sound waves, amplifying them to destructive levels. I can shatter glass, destabilize structures, and even incapacitate enemies through sonic blasts. It's a powerful but dangerous ability, one that the rogues wanted to exploit for their own gain."

I reached up with trembling hands, feeling along the carved lower edge of the heavy wooden frame until my fingertips pressed against the hidden mechanical latch buried deep within the woodwork. I lick my lip to try and feel out what's so wrong, only to find teeth sharp and long, and a sensation of fur around the edges. I wolfed. I’m a wolf, and I shake it off, shake my head to bring my sight back to clear and fuzz-free, so I can turn and see the others around me. A weird movement that’s ungraceful and dog-like, that knocks me off balance. Nearby, a smaller wolf sits and looks at its paws, as I was, yet it glows too. Blue and surreal, as though the moon has rolled down to illuminate us with her touch, and it’s eerily pretty. Something I have never seen before at an Awakening. They don’t seem to be in pain anymore, either, and I wonder if the worst has passed. None of them is crying

Then I set my alarm for five. The pack territory was shrouded in mist in the early morning. I sat in my car, parked in the shadows of the trees outside the main house's side entrance.
