Eve smiled at him. "That's a great idea, Thanks Peter!" Keri replied and Sally and I nodded. We spent the rest of the afternoon, laying out on our big towels, talking and relaxing. Later, as the sun set, Finn, Tom, Leo and Van made a bonfire. Eve, Sally, Hart, Keri, Peter, Jake and I gathered snacks, marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers, hot dogs, buns, condiments and drinks. We brought it all out to the roaring fire. We roasted hot dogs and made s'mores all night while we swapped scary stories and played silly games.

She just had this energy that always drew you in and was warm. We planned to have it on Sunday and have the bounce houses and slides up as well as the huge fire pit and just have everyone out. The fire pit would allow people to roast marshmallows or hotdogs and smokies. They would be grilling burgers and steak and all sorts of things for everyone and a few tables set up for people to bring a food dish of their choice and the cafeteria in the barracks would also be providing food for everyone. In all honesty, I was looking forward to it.

Mom always knew exactly what every plant needed and when. The breeze blew again, this time taking some fallen leaves with it as it went. It was Autumn after all.
