Toxic Paradise
He handed me my glass with a smile as the two of us made our way out to the fire pit.
It was a very nice set up. The fire pit was a gas pit made up of what looked like marble bricks, and the orange flames danced beautifully across black, glass-like stones that coated and piled up across the the bottom. The outdoor furniture around it was cozy, consisting of tan, cushioned couches and arm chairs that surrounded the area in it's entirety. As I settled in, sipping on my perfectly proportioned margarita, I almost forgot that my life was currently in shambles.
"So, what do you think?" Ryan asked, sitting beside me on the couch.
