Damien chuckled, pulled out the chair across from him, and sat down. “Pointless? You need to learn to enjoy life. How about you come with me tonight? There’s a new nightclub downtown. Lights, music, beautiful women you’ll forget all your burdens.” “I’m allergic to places like that,” Xavier said coolly. “Allergic? You really haven’t changed always serious, always cold. He leaned back, then inclined forward slightly.

He laughs, “Yeah, and then what?
