The Late Winds of Love

The Late Winds of Love

I felt my heart fill with love as I looked at Mavis' resolute profile. Richard watched us with a relieved look, tears glistening in his eyes. Nearby, Tyler giggled, full of innocent joy. The gentle mountain breeze brushed past us, carrying the scent of earth. In the distance, the mountains stood tall, shrouded in mist. We stood at the entrance to the village, basking in the warm sunlight. At that moment, happiness felt simple.

Must Have Been the Wind

Must Have Been the Wind

Ms Vento paused for a while, halting her sipping and placing the half-full mug down onto the coffee table in front of them with a soft clang. She cleared her throat before humming in thought at the question. She needed to be honest despite knowing that the truth will hurt the young man. If she chose her words correctly, she hoped she could ease the pain at least a little.

Going Where the Wind Takes Me

Going Where the Wind Takes Me

At most, he could scroll through their old chats and feel sad for himself. Sean was not the type to wallow. Sitting on the plane, scrolling through old messages and crying quietly was far beneath someone like him. As a man used to winning, he refused to behave like a loser. Hence, throughout the twenty-three-hour flight to Sunland, Sean kept his eyes closed, resting. He was not a failure or a weakling. He was determined that once he arrived, he would win Eve back and restore their relationship to how it had been.

THE REJECTED BETA

THE REJECTED BETA

Solara’s POV The wind off the Northern passes didn't just howl, it screamed with the voices of everyone I had buried to reach this seat of power. I moved through the Southern thicket, my ash-colored robes whipping around my legs like the wings of a dying crow. Every step I took away from Northreach felt like a step away from a firing squad. He knows. The thought was a jagged shard of ice embedded in my brain.

THE LAST INITIATE

THE LAST INITIATE

I reminded her, after downing one of the cans of Fanta. “Is that so…but you’re the one mummy used to caution whenever we ate together.” I could hear the crunch made by the salad and macaroni in her mouth, as I stood up to prepare both bedrooms. The way she ate, drank and belched…she must’ve been really hungry from work. I smiled as I thought to myself, feeling the small portrait in my chest pocket. Going south of Port Harcourt to the Atlantic Ocean and further to the point where no land was visible, a strange wind began to blow. As the strange wind blew, a ripple appeared in that ‘particular spot’ on the Atlantic Ocean.

Falling For Two Alphas

Falling For Two Alphas

You just spoiled your respect and now you don't have enough respect to work in this home, only suicide is a best option for you. I went upstairs to my room and opened the door. It was morning time and shine and bright light was coming out. I want to window and opened it. I can feel the wind, A wintry wind swept across the land with a bold honesty, a rawness that brought one's soul into the gentle cloud-filtered rays which was straight striking over my face. when it's comes the winter wind, each snowman's unseen scarf, to stir the snow, to wake the trees in a percussion of chattering.

Torn Apart By Fate

Torn Apart By Fate

Sarah shut down her thoughts and started to write, with her heart as its guide. ''Maybe the wind felt bad for me and is comfortingly embracing me. Maybe the wind wants to be my lover and follows me because it's always alone, just like me. No matter how much I smile, telling myself I am going to be alright, Still, nothing feels right. You shake up my heart and abandon it to be alone. The wind passes by my eyes, telling me it is okay to cry as if the wind is ready to be blamed. When you are the one to tear up my heart and made me cry...”

Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny

Bound by the Moon, Fated by Destiny

I gazed at the sky once more, then a gentle but fierce wind blew to the point it shook me. I gazed around when the Luna met with me. "The wind was blowing from the northeast. This isn't good. Something big is coming our way. A storm that will destroy us all" There was a shivering in my bones. "What is it? You don't mean the war, do you?" She questioned. I wish I could tell her more. But even I had no idea. It's just a sick feeling. "I don't know. I just hope we won't loose more than we bargained for"

Weathering the Storm

she asked with a smile. “Never better.” He said as he kissed her gently. “now let’s get home so we can move on to the next stage.” “I think that is the plan.” Deanna said as she looked at him, “Whatever comes next is going to be fine as we move on.” “The next part is the main part of the storm. We are just close to the eye wall.” Max said as he shut the door to the van and walked around. As he did Deanna thought to herself, they will just have to break the eye wall themselves.

Fated to the King of Dragons (book 3 of the APOD SERIES)

Now standing in the distance, the sun rose to morning. A feeling of nothing but despair dawned through me, jaw gritting at the thought of where my mate could be, knowing they wouldn’t be foolish enough to hurt her. The wind blew gently by, when I caught it again, this time fainter, less powerful and different but still there, an essence of Kaya, coming from the east.

I recently found your series, and actually fell in love with the story line. I'm an avid reader and waiting for updates is driving me crazy. I found book 2 first, finished that, found book 1, reread book 2, found book 3 on a different site, is caught up, and waiting for updates.
