The wolf put one paw on the stairs leading up to the porch. Suddenly, I was lunging for it. We rolled and I locked my arms and legs around it, squeezing it hard until its bones cracked and it howled in agony. I bit into its neck, silencing it immediately. Its blood filled my mouth and my stomach rumbled. I lapped at its blood until my hunger was satiated. I left its body lying on the stairs to creep carefully through town, avoiding Sebastian.

I watched for a moment before walking toward my door. As I was shutting it, I heard Elena whisper, “Go get your man, Auntie.” I shook my head. That girl was a disaster walking, and I absolutely adored the organized chaos that was Elena. I quietly crept down the stairs before slipping out the back door and into the forest. I stopped beneath his tree, looking up, scanning the tree for him but not finding him. “I know you’re here, ‘Sprey. I can feel you.” He sighed as he swung himself down out of the tree. “Hey, Scarlett. I was just leaving. I was hunting a squirrel. They’re fast and good to hunt to keep myself fresh and-”

He followed a second later, spilling inside me with a low groan. We collapsed together on the desk, breathing hard, sweat dripping down our wet bodies. I felt some liquid touch my cheek. When I looked up, I saw that Mr. Sinclair was now close to me, wet cream shooting from his cap. I brought my tongue out and his sloppy dick slid into my mouth. I licked his cap clean, swallowing his cum. When he was satisfied he stood back, tucking himself back into his slacks. "Well," he said with a chuckle. "That was certainly an interesting way to end the workday."

IN some way, Adelina felt out of sorts as all the while, Jonathan McCurby hadn't sent a message across to her or even visited. She had bargained for an extravaganza— huge bouquet of flowers, a live band probably and whatever Jonathan deems fitting of the moment as it was typical of him to lavish her with exorbitant gubbins all the time. Although, she was aware that he was out of the state and had only just returned to Chicago yesterday. So, she comforted herself in this as the last reason she could think of was the thought screaming in her head — Jonathan had moved on.

Adeline’s pov What the heck was Cecilia trying to prove by doing this, I wondered despondently as I backed away gingerly from the approaching trio. She smiled at me , waving her hands forward and I all I could see was the evil glint in her eyes and the smirk curling her lips. My heart pounded erratically, she must have known I wasn’t feeling too good. I wasn’t good with pain, so I was more than ninety percent sure I had been moaning my head off in that seat over there.

"Ok Ty, he's in the next room waiting." Typhon walked out and slammed the door. Henry walked over to me with a cloth, "Sometimes I wish I could help you, but then other times I wish I could have fun with you myself." I'm absolutely disgusted, as Henry cleaned me up and headed toward the door. "He probably will not be in a good mood when he comes back so I'm sure that I'll be cleaning up blood next time." I could hear parts of the conversation through the wall. "What do you mean you attacked them in their own compound?", Typhon screamed. "They killed my brother, what do you expect me to do just sit around? You were supposed to help me, we are partners." "Do you even understand the consequence

Kane screamed in his loudest voice and everyone left whatever they were doing. They were returning to the Pack but it was already too late. There were more than twenty hunters among them who had invaded the Pack. Kane had to run back to save those he could save Even when he knew it was dangerous. The Hunters shot most of them with the silver bullet mixed with wolfsbane. Those who were not shot were able to run inside and the whole Chambers was shot. Kane didn't follow the rest of them that were inside the Chambers. He was trying to speak with the Hunters to see if they would change their thoughts against them.

He was so close to her now and not only could she smell the faint scent of his cologne, but she could feel the heat radiating from his body. No, she immediately snapped of whatever spell he had on me. Her senses seemed to come back to her as she took a step back. She needed him far away. Even though his touch felt soothing, she still needed to escape. She thought she had the courage to do this before, but she just couldn’t. She couldn’t let a stranger defile her. A man she hardly knew to take away the one thing she owned. Evie grabbed the bra from beneath me and dashed for the door. But he caught her wrist. His touch sending sparks down her spine.

I nodded to Xavier, he had every right to hate me, and if that made him feel better, then I would take it. I closed my eyes as he raised the knife and waited for him to plunge it deep into my chest. To be continued… (This book is a Duet, the Hunter and The Hunted. The Hunted i still being written, please see my website for more information. He will find out where she lives and then will come for me. Abby kisses me on the cheek, reassuring me that she will sort it out. She was forever fixing my problems. Making unwanted things go away. I still didn’t know how she did it. All I knew is that she wasn’t human and she wasn’t a wolf. Her car speeds down the driveway and I wait until I can no longer hear the engine. Grabbing my dagger, I pull my coat up around me, hiding the dagger in the inner pocket. I wasn’t going after Abby, that would be stupid. I was heading to the place where those girls were killed.
