She turns away from the fight to say something but is stopped by single spike through her chest. “Mother!” I start running towards her when something drops from above. It was obsidian, and smoothly polished. It was as tall as a tree and had no facial features. It reached for me, and I scrambled back. I was backed up against the wall when it was covered in an orb. Mother was on the floor, with my father standing over her, unscathed. She flung the orb out of the building and she screams.

So she called the person she trusted the most in the world— There was a click as the call went through. “Hello?” “Madam Dahlia, it’s me, Spider.” Aria’s eyes were perfectly still in the darkness. “Good news. “—I’ve established contact with the assassination target.”

“I couldn’t get through to mom here. I wonder why that happened.” “Your mother is filled with pure energy . She has a pure heart and darkness could never mimic that. If you had seen her, you would have known immediately that something was wrong.” My mother's worried face flashed in my thoughts and gratefulness filled my heart. I truly was blessed with wonderful parents. I couldn't ask for anything more. “And Sofia?” “She’s a succubus and is not relevant around this time of your story.” Ouch! Brooklyn answered with a groan as he walked inside the room and sat on the chair. "I had a dream, the demon I know is my friend's daughter and she's on earth" Dray declared and Brooklyn paid rapid attention. "What friend?. Didn't you tell me that the only demon on Earth killed herself?. And is she more powerful than you are?" Brooklyn questioned. "My friend's mom was a vampire and her father a demon. Yes she killed herself but demons reproduce before they die, now would you pay attention?" Dray demanded getting impatient. "She's living with humans and the vampire's eye is protecting her" Dray explained.

I summon thee to the mortal realm. Kneel before–” The sound of thunder cracking cut me short before I could complete my words. The ground began to rumble and the circle I had engraved on the ground expanded outwards as dark smoke clouded the entire place.
