I said, only a little sarcastic. “The only monsters in my house are you and me, and I can’t fit under your bed,” he said in a bland tone. “Har-har.” I mocked him. I didn’t want to think of myself as a monster, even if I was. “The most common in this particular city are Demons, Gargoyles, Vampires, and Witches. Werewolves do roam around here every now and then, but they like more open space for when they shift,” he continued like there had been no banter between us.

A bold thought suddenly struck me— was Liam seriously searching for a cute sticker to send me just now? The very next message confirmed my suspicion.

I believe they are called a Hupia, although I can’t be certain that’s what it really was. It didn’t bother us, but this place seems to be filled with them. Something else that we have come across is a Morko. It is an elemental Ooze type creature. They are freaky as hell but the only way they could hurt you is to love you to death. We have also crossed paths with a few dangerous creatures,

But not being there made me feel like I'm not fulfilling my duties as their leader. “Alana, can you stop worrying?” I snapped out of my emotional state and took my gaze to my side. Who was I expecting it to be if not the ever annoying Aiden! “What's going on with the monsters? I learned there is no more on sight.” I asked. “You don't have to worry about that. I sent my secret investigators to trace the other monsters that went back.” “It's strange, don't you think? They are vampires, yet they can walk in the sun.”
