Staring Into The Void Novels & Stories

All I got was a deafening silence "Can you at least look at me? I don't like seeing you like this" All I got was silence I got tempted to get into her head to see what is wrong and to snap her out of it but the promise I made to myself concerning her stopped me. Picking up my phone, I called Doctor Henry who happens to live thirty minutes drive away. I ordered him to be here within ten minutes. Using vampire's powers, it's possible to arrive here that fat, but the thing is that Dr Henry is not a vampire, he is a warm-blooded human whose heart beats like other regular human beings.

It would be passed on to the next generation, and it only activated for some. The ones who know because it is in their blood and their beings just know when the others are close. They know they have to look at the sky to see what is really there awaiting them. Pieces of themselves still flying around in the vast area of space. Often they realize what they are though sometimes they don’t. When they are children, the others watch for them. The simple curiousness of children was one thing. The children that were seeds wanted to know more. They had to know. They never lost that curiousness. They were drawn to the stars and where they knew was their real home somehow.

An icy chill ran through my entire body. Gavin was inside the tent, holding a camera. Filming. Everything I had just done… had been recorded. Panic hit me all at once. "What are you doing with that camera?" I asked. Gavin's smile twisted. "Evidence," he said. "Everything you just did. It's all on here. No way you're getting out of this." He started laughing, and the sound made my skin crawl. For a moment, I wondered if he had lost his mind, what he was even trying to do.

Still there. She stood in the void for a long time. So long she didn't know how long she'd been standing. No sun. No moon. No stars. Her body told her time was passing. Her legs grew sore. Her lower back grew stiff. Her bladder grew full. She crouched and relieved herself. In the dark. Soundless. Odorless. She fastened her trousers and stood. She walked in the void. She walked many steps in one direction. No walls. No trees. No stones. Only the sound of her own footsteps. The void had no echo. Her footsteps were absorbed by her own body and never reached her ears.

Whether I still need to get to know my real parents or just let myself not know them. I jumped on a high tree, clung to its big branch, and then jumped again towards the other tree. I moved around the tall and big trees until I heard voices not far from where I was. I heard that northward. I tilted and when I confirmed the source of the voice, I decided to follow that voice until from where I was, I saw two wolves surrounded by ten vampires. The two wolves were ready to turn their backs on each other as they were surrounded by vampires as if ready to rush.

The night is still young, the stars are just starting to show themselves in a cloudless but cold evening, reminding the people who are out for a walk or for dining or just roaming around that in the morning, the rain came and washes away the dust accumulated by the pollution which is the product of human's uncaring for the environment. Even Cassandra noticed how beautiful the night stars are and asked Imman to look out of the window to see the scenery. From Alassandra's POV Once again, I felt as though I was falling into an empty void, a void unlike any other I'd ever experienced before. Even though I could see everything around me, there was no sound to be heard. The feeling left me feeling like I was alone in the world, with no one to talk to or share my thoughts with. It was a feeling of complete isolation and emptiness I had never experienced before. The only comfort I felt was that of the sweet taste of blood left in my mouth; it soothed the darkness and kept it calm, yet I still felt something else lurking just beyond the empty void that surrounded me.

The starry backdrop provided little comfort, with the inky blackness between the stars hinting at the emptiness of space. Liora shouted across the void to Orion, her voice echoing eerily, "Orion, can you hear me?" He looked towards her, his face a mix of determination and concern. "Yes! Stay focused, Liora. We have to get through this together." Suddenly, a haunting melody echoed through the void, emanating from nowhere and everywhere at once. The platforms on which they stood began to move, shifting, rotating, and changing positions, forcing them to jump and cling on for dear life.

KEENA Opening my eyes I let out a groan. The darkness of the void encompasses me once again. Frustration flows through my body. I don’t want to be here. Lying on my back I stare up at the darkness and scream. “Why am I here again?!” I kick my legs back and forth like a toddler throwing a tantrum. As I kick my legs I can hear the voices of the void hissing with laughter. I plug my fingers in my ears to drown out the laughter and I yell gibberish loudly. I close my eyes tightly and try to drown out the voices of the void.
