Her eyes pierced to mine and I swear its causing me to be shy right now. "Those eyes of yours are like stars. Have you ever sat outside at night and gaze up to the sky to watch the stars?-" I asks and she nods. "The beauty of the shining stars in the sky at night fits the description of your eyes. There's so much beauty in your eyes that it's almost blinding me right now. I guess if I stare too much, I'll get addicted to it and won't want to blink for a second".

And…I squint a little, tilting my head a fraction to the right. Something about him— Something I can’t put my finger on. It’s in his eyes. The way they look at me feels oddly familiar. I turned off the shower but I still couldn't get his scent off me. Wrapping myself in a robe, I went to my closet to pick an outfit for my interview tomorrow. I didn't want to be late. I needed this job. I ended up chosing a deep blue straight gown and a pair of red heels. I laid in bed and wrapped myself in blankets trying to sleep but I couldn't. Everytime I closed my eyes I was met the same set gold eyes. Haunting me and pulling me away from sleep. By the time it was 6am in the morning, I had gotten little to no sleep and my eyes were dull.

They were drawn to the stars and where they knew was their real home somehow. Kristen Lambert always knew she was different though no one else could see her the same way.
