* * * McCall is one of the seargents in the police station where detective Maxwell works,although he's not too relevant. The other officers do mock him because of his small posture,he nearly quit his job because of the regular insults and mockery he received from his other colleagues but later changed his mind because his family relent solely on his salary. McCall was on his way home one cold night when he was abducted by some unknown men,he fought so hard to escape from the van the kidnappers used but he was knocked out by one of the men when he's becoming a problem for them.He later opened his eyes and found himself in a warehouse.

The night air was thick with tension, the silence stretching between the men like an invisible noose tightening around their throats. The scent of burnt metal and charred earth from the crash site still lingered, mingling with the damp musk of the forest. Steve stood his ground, his piercing gaze locked onto the two men before him. He had already ruined their little secret, and they damn well knew it. "I know you’re federal agents," Steve said, his voice as cold as the steel of his motorcycle. "And I don’t give a shit which agency you work for. But make no mistake—you’re the ones trespassing."

We are all under lockdown while the high-ups investigate the scene. The air around us is thick with tension. “One nap and a murder happen. How much more unlucky do I have to be?” The guy who I have come to know as Steve mumbles to himself while constantly checking the time on his phone. Turns out he has a set of very strict parents. I get his worry. The door opens and a guard walks in. His gaze sweeps over each one of us like we were all criminals. He begins to question everyone separately.

He held out a hand and Douggie took it. Looking at the special agent in charge, Douggie was picturing Timothy Magee from the TV show. The Navy one, whatever the name of it was. “Yeah, I know what you’re thinking.” Mac grinned. “Everyone tells me that I look like Sean Murray. The actor that plays Magee on NCIS.” “That’s the show.” Douggie said as their hands fell to their sides. Mac handed over a small pocket size bottle of Tylenol. “You look like you could use this.”

Can you please tell me about James's relationship with his wife? Have you noticed anything unusual lately?" Steve hesitated, unsure of how to answer. "They've been having some problems lately," he said finally. "They've been arguing a lot, and James has been feeling really stressed out. But I never thought it would come to this. I never thought someone would kidnap his wife." The officer nodded, his expression understanding.

Within seconds, they were leading us past the security dividers and straight into the private investigative wings, bypassing the crowded waiting area entirely. The heavy oak door to the primary desk room swung open, and Detective Steven, the officer in charge of Sarah’s case, stepped out into the hallway. He froze for a fraction of a second, his eyes widening in absolute shock as he looked down at Sarah, then up at me, before a professional, guarded smile returned to his rugged features.

He was putting on a show, hiding his pain for my sake. "You'll always be handsome," I teased, playing along. He let out a bitter laugh. "No need to butter me up." "We know you were set up. Jace and Hayden are both working on it. You just gotta hang in there, okay? It'll be fine," I said, trying to reassure him while steering the conversation toward what I needed to know. Steve looked surprised that we believed him. Since his arrest, no one had been able to hear his side. "We don't have all the details. Just tell me who's approached you lately, and how things started with Danilo. Don't leave anything out," I urged.
