I watched him walk toward us with a black canvas hand bag slung over his left shoulder and a suitcase in his other hand. Physically, Steven was a genetic aberration: he stood one meter ninety-two of pure lean muscle, with shoulders so broad they made the terminal hallway look narrow. His dark blonde hair was cut close on the sides, leaving a textured upper section, and his eyes, a deep bottle green, shone with a lucidity that bordered on arrogance. He had a square jaw, marked by a perfectly trimmed three-day beard, and sharp, gray eyes that contrasted with his dark hair, which was messily tossed in a careless way. The room fell silent again. “Emely,” Steven continued, “if you want to get out of this without leaving any gaps… you need to be ready to play at the same level.” “Who is it?” I asked. “Helbert. You must know him.” I froze. Of course I knew that name. Helbert was one of the best lawyers in the country. “Steven… but isn’t he extremely expensive?” I asked hesitantly. Mom looked just as surprised. “Helbert? That Helbert?”

Soon, Steven and his gang from his company reached the venue. Immediately, both Daisy and I welcome them in. Steven was born mixed-blood and was six feet tall. His feature feature was chiseled, and he was quite outspoken. “Welcome!” “Hello! Nice to meet you all!” The second he made his entrance, he instantly garnered everyone’s undivided attention. Renesmee nodded and was about to get up but Steven stopped her. "No, I don't want to be healed by you. I would rather die than be healed by you." Hatred was clear in Steven's eyes for Liam and Liam's eyes also blazed in anger. He wanted to end his life right there but controlled himself there for the sake of Renesmee. Because he had understood that Steven was very close to Renesmee and if he did something to him maybe she would leave him. And he can't afford to lose her this time. He was willing to do anything for her sake to keep her with him. He doesn't want to lose her this time at any cost.

I would go through a lot of inhumane torture every day and it would be worse anytime he was annoyed. Steven's perspective. Steven has been in hell for a long time. He meditates every day in order to cross the border that he must cross every day. Since his best friend's death, he has been restless and has tried everything to be himself. He used a lot of drugs to get his head fixed. In his dreams, he kept seeing his friend and asked him to atone for his sins. Steven couldn't control his rage, so he soothed himself by consuming more drugs. Despite his best efforts, nothing worked for him.

“I’m so disappointed.” I rolled my eyes at his theatrics, folding my arms across my chest. He didn’t seem like a thief at all. The way he carried himself, the way he spoke, it was clear he belonged here somehow. Still, I wanted to hear it from him directly. “Leandro never mentioned anyone. So who are you, really?” I pressed, raising a brow. His lips curved into a grin as he extended a hand toward me. “I’m Steven. Leandro’s best friend.”
