Steven leaned forward, locked his fingers together, and rested his elbows on the table. “What do you think my reasons are?” Steven asked, staring directly into Gregory’s eyes. He carried a blank, emotionless expression on his face; it seemed the happiness he had in his eyes before Gabriella left was completely gone. “Well, I don’t know; that’s why I’m asking,” Gregory replied. “Of course you don’t. A while ago, I got information that Alpha Derren killed the rouge king and put an end to the rogues forever,” Steven said.

Gregory spits blood in the floor and then laughs. "I'm not telling you shit. I'm an Alpha. I can take anything a pussy Beta like you can dish out." Steven punches his face repeatedly. I pull him back. "Remember we need him alive until the doctor find out what's in her system." He stops and Gregory laughs again. "My mother hit harder than you." Steven goes after him again and I pull him back again. "Don't. He's taunting you. It's what he does." I say shooting a dirty look at Gregory.

He replied to his friend and tasted his drink. Greg returned with various colors and designs of t-shirts. He displayed them one at a time, and Steven persistently rejected each one of them. "That's not his style." "The color isn't right." "That won't look good on him." Greg felt exhausted after every piece of clothing he had presented got denied by Steven. "Sir, allow me to pick another set for your lover," Greg replied. Steven spits the drink out of his mouth, and Jackson stares at Greg fiercely. "What! No! We are not together. Steven did not reply but instead laughed even more and this made Greg even more annoyed with the deputy general. However, since he could not force Steven to explain further, he could only wait with resignation. "You fool! Who intends to punish you?" Steven said after his laughter died down. He never thought his men would act so stupidly. Greg wasn't angry at all when he was cursed at like that, in fact he was even more curious about Steven's previous words. However, now Steven actually couldn't blame his men either because the actions taken by William Mackenzie were always unexpected.

Steven shakes his head in his office before hanging up the phone. Steven now requires something to clear his mind. He's both angry and sad. Steven dislikes being squandered, but his gut instinct tells him that it isn't over and that they will triumph.

Steven cried as he spoke, he was wrong he admitted it, Nathan of all people should understand where he was coming from. He was an orphan at an early age because of rogues, Nathan knows of his resentment towards rogues and distrust for them. Could he not understand him? But Nathan smirked. “You deserve worse but being a rogue will do just fine for now.” He stood up and pushed Steven away from him. “I alpha Nathan Walker hereby banish you Steven Martin gamma of Silver Sands pack to leave the pack and be a rogue.”
