Rick shrugged but Steven refused to let him out of his grasp till Rick said “Yeah.” “Well, Uncle Stevie has just had a lot of things happening to him at the same time. I'm almost done wrapping those things up and then we can go to the Planetarium as many times as you want, okay?” “Really truly?” Rick asked, a huge smile forming on his face.

“You’re the prey tonight.” Steven smirked. “Five against one? That’s not even a challenge.” The men raised their weapons, aiming at him. “You won’t be laughing for long,” one of them sneered. Steven’s eyes glowed with an icy blue light, and a chilling grin spread across his face. “I’ll make you regret those words. Let’s dance.” Then he turned to me, his expression fierce. “Run, Luna. Now.” I didn’t wait for another warning. I turned and ran, the sound of his laughter echoing behind me.

I rested my head on Steven's broad, muscular shoulder and looked toward the rising sun. I realized that all the treasures on earth could not be compared to happiness at this moment.
