Another shot. Time slows.

"Time stopped. I stopped...time." All three of them stare at me, stunned into total silence. The air in the room tightens unbearably, pressing down on us all. “You what?” Zeke asks, his voice careful, slow, like he’s not entirely sure he heard the impossible claim right. “I stopped time,” I say, the confession sounding insane even to my own ears. “It wasn’t intentional, I swear. Everything and everyone just froze for maybe a minute or so.” Roman mutters a guttural curse under his breath, leaning back in disbelief. Kael just stares at me, his eyes wide, like he’s trying to see the incredible, impossible magic still clinging to my skin.

Clara wondered what he did in that massive dark room of his. But she would have to keep wondering until they got married since she was back to her place now. With time, the paparazzi were tired of staking an empty house. Clara was sure they took the hint already because they stopped coming. One or two of them come around sometimes but that was all, they never hung around too long. That was good for Clara because she needed her peace. She needed to sort out her emotions real quick before she exploded.

Unknown POV I lost track of time while I burned cigarette stick after stick. The once dark sky is now preparing for a new day. I walk slowly away from the window feeling cranky from lack of sleep and stiff from staying in position for too long. It's a new day and I'm really excited about what I planned on doing today, I really hope it goes well. The loud ringing of my phone had me stopped surprised. "isn't it kinda early" "what do you want?" I asked into the phone clearly not in the mood to handle the person on the other end.

Good thing demure is still eating, he doesn't need to get what's mine. Hours had passed, we're still traveling. Dumb-mure had been sleeping, his head on my shoulder for almost an hour now. All I did was play some games on my phone to kill my boredom. Then my stomach began to growl, asking to be fed. Then chocolates came rushing through my brain cell. I took a bite and then after, I'm not able to stop eating anymore. I ain't going to watch the view since cities were far now and all you can see was trees and grasses. Suddenly the bus stops and Demure woke up. I looked at my window outside and all buses are aligned and stopped.

Once more, my stomach rumbled and I angrily ignored it. “ We could stop at the next gas station if you’re really hungry” hunter commented at the roaring of my stomach. “ Next? Has there been a previous one?” “ No actually, but there’s a first one at our next turn” “ Okay” I said as I patiently waited for our next turn. And true to his directions, in less than ten minutes we were approaching a gas station with only two individuals present and a single gas pump. Hunter drove into the marked out area for parking and immediately turned off the ignition .

Jessy began to slow down, and soon they stopped but kept on firing the engine. "On your right." She whispered to Dale.

I say softly as Elliott placed her car keys on a dish on the table. "Thank you," she chokes quietly, picking up a picture of her holding a young Macy. "She was three months pregnant when she was in the accident. "Did Reese cause..." "Yes, I was ten weeks," I choke in a whisper. "It was six months ago. The abuse stopped when I told her I wanted a baby. She beat me when I didn't have dinner ready when she ended her shift. I was taking a nap after a twelve hour surgery and was sleeping when she got home."

Then she asked me, “What time is it already?” I looked at my watch and saw that it was still the same time that I left the classroom earlier. “Sh*t!” I cursed, and I suddenly felt my heart begin beating faster with what I had found out. “What?” Pryce worriedly asked me. “My watch stopped. It’s dead. And I believe it’s now called a stopwatch.” I answered while looking around and noticed that nobody was walking in the hallways anymore. I didn't notice the bell rang. “WHAT?” She yelled and searched for her phone inside her bag.
