Crimson Outcast

Crimson Outcast

Mind you in between us all somewhere there are witches and vampires too! Witches generally keep to themselves, rarely interacting with others outside of their covens. Their territories are well-protected, and it’s uncommon for them to wander far except when gathering herbs or special ingredients for rituals and ceremonies. Their devotion centers around their goddess, known as “The Maiden, The Mother, The Crone”—a three-headed deity embodying the cycles of life, wisdom, and magic.

Weak to Strong : The Hybrid

Weak to Strong : The Hybrid

I asked her, and she answered me right away. "None of your business … You need me as I need you, and if we want to get out of here alive, we need to help each other." Now it all starts making sense. I set her free, and she started one of her once-upon-a-time witches' stories. "All witches are quite strong when they land here, it's all because of our ancestors who sacrificed their lives …" I cut her off "Wait … Shall all your stories start and end with self-sacrifices?"

The Alpha She Stole From Me

The Alpha She Stole From Me

Thick smoke curled around the doorway. Her terrifying laughter continued to ring through the air, and my feet immediately began trembling. At once, I remembered the stories Mother used to tell me. Twenty-one years ago, witches had been among the most cunning creatures alive. If a witch told you that a color was white, you should question it immediately because chances were the color was actually black. Lies flowed through them as naturally as breathing. Because of their cunning nature, countless creatures struggled to defeat them. At the same time, countless creatures hated them.

The Witch's Wolf

The Witch's Wolf

The moment Hylda came into the picture and put Sadie to death the tradition had died with her. The witch's quarters looked old and worn down from years of neglect. Sadie was long gone by the time she had even been permitted to enter the pack house but she'd heard from the older generations what it used to be like. The walls apparently had a glow to them from the amount of magick in the room. There was rumored to be a large crystal sat in a well, center of the room where the users would replenish themselves. Foliage decorated the room making it look like a green house with work stations set up. Large wooden work tables covered in rare ingredients and spells books from past generations lay on

That he’d been lying. Aria pulled every book she could find on witches down from the shelves, stacking them around her chair until she was half barricaded in by old leather tomes. She flipped through page after page, scanning faded ink and brittle parchment. Most of it she already knew, the stories she had read before. That the six original witches had created the other supernatural races, wolves, vampires, fae, demons. That those creations eventually turned on them, wiping them out and slaughtering their direct lines.

CURSED HEART

CURSED HEART

I corrected Black. "After witches were sent into exile…." Before Cyrus would say anything else, I interrupted him. "I'm sorry did you say sent into exile?" I asked him, confused. As a child, Alpha King Elijah always told me stories about witches. According to him, a strange illness had broken out amongst the witch, claiming all of their lives. This was my reason to quickly find out if there was any trace of witchcraft in her. I wanted to be sure if she was a witch and if she had that illness too.

Forbidden Thirst (Crimson Shadows Book #1)

Forbidden Thirst (Crimson Shadows Book #1)

After a few hours, I plunge then took into semi-darkness, leaving only a small light on, and slip under the covers. I glare at the book. "Very well! It's just you and me!" I lean against the headboard and put the book on my lap. What I discover is fascinating. It's a collection of handwritten accounts of witches of all ages. The oldest dates back to the Middle Ages. The writings are indeed originals. I touch them with deference. What some witches experienced in discovering their gift seems to reflect my own emotions. I'd never thought I'd read so much in one day, but I identify with them so much that I forget the time.

Luna's Reckoning

Luna's Reckoning

She wanted to speak but Diane spoke before her. "We don't have much time today," she said. "I was telling you a story the last time we met. My story," she glanced up. Melissa nodded. She remembered the story. Last time they had spoken about how they'd trusted a wolf and it had led to the demise of their population. She wanted to ask her then, how did the witches lose easily to just a single wolven attack? From what she'd heard about witches, they were literally forces of nature. Yet somehow half of them had died and were at the mercy of an ordinary werewolf.

The Vampire King's Feeder

The Vampire King's Feeder

Her eyes stare off into space, like she’s remembering something, “Once upon a time…” I give her a judging look. “That’s the cheesiest way to start a story.” “This is how I want to tell my story. Do you want to listen or not?” I mime zipping my mouth and throwing away the key. “Once upon a time, back when this land was ruled by a different king, King Michael, he started hunting witches,” she continues. “You see, at that time witches existed. They lived amongst the humans and had a tenuous relationship with the wolf shifters. But the vampires? They hunted the witches.”

The Alpha's Slave Mate

The Alpha's Slave Mate

It seems as if Theo is as stumped as the rest of us, and that alone is making everything uneasy for me. Scarlett’s admission is also troubling me. If Alma was able to find a witch does that mean that they are more common than I previously thought? I personally do not have a problem with witches, but I do remember the stories that my parents told me. Before humans started multiplying in vast numbers, the different species of other worldly inhabitants fought each other fiercely. By nature, Vampires and Werewolves are natural enemies, much like Angels and Demons. Witches, Warlocks, Fairies, and Nymphs were both feared and used by other factions. According to legends and the stories I was told A

Dear Danielle, I have really enjoyed reading this book so far; but I must admit that I’m currently stumpted about where the book has been paused at. Maybe, if possible, please resume writing chapters then I would feel more satisfied if there was at least some type of closure to the story. Thanks!
Michelle
Danielle are you going to finish this book? I understand you had a family emergency but months ago you posted you would finally start writing again but there have been no updates. If your not please tell us so we can stop looking for updates and remove it from our reading list!
